You mean Blomkamp didn't like two studios that were handling the movie fighting over profits.
I think it's been a year since I read an article about it and it has been fixed in my head that way so you're probably right.

Yes!DerZuhälter;43625540 said:But this show also cemented my view of "Halo" not being a good idea for a movie. A movie around the Halo universe though would work excellently.

Blomkamp didn't liked how MS handled the whole business around the movie and how greedy they were.
He wasn't using the Halo 4 Pistol that's for sure.
Am I crazy or is that Chiefs H3 armor?
Lol awesome but wrong scene for the chinese kids death.his academic performance is exemplary but his combat scores are disappointing.

The only thing that's bugging the crap out of me is him requesting to be called "Master Chief". This takes place almost immediately after they receive their Mjolnir armor. I'm almost positive John had not attained the rank of Master Chief at this point. He was just Squad Leader, and a little over 14 years old.

Yeah that bugged me a bit too but only because someone telling you to call them MASTER CHIEF just sounds corny lol.
I was sure he was gonna say 'call me John'.
This episode was soooooo good.
The Elites have been handled perfectly. They are really intimidating and you can just tell that they view humans as vermin.
Every time Chief was on screen I had a shit eating grin on my face. I was so worried that he would look corny with some actor in a suit but it looks great.
I still think a Halo film should be CGI though. The CGI in that Fincher trailer was great. A whole movie like that would blow my mind.
MS should just bite the bullet and fund it themselves.

You clearly don't know how the Navy works, mate lol.
Haha. Wat.
Half joke / Half truth
The implication is that any enlisted serviceman who has earned the rank of Master Chief would most definitely be telling everyone to call them "Master Chief".
Pretty uninformed review. Not knowing the who or why about MC's voice actor... Not noticing the fact thatin front of lasky or hearing him tell the others... Etc.Mehaffe was gunned down
Poor review...
I'd imagine the only reason MC requested the students to call him 'Master Chief' was for people watching who might not be totally familiar with his real name/rank at that point in time.
Him having a different rank would confuse people who don't follow as closely as most of us.
It is his rank and cadets should use that vice his first name. They are military afterall.
It is his rank and cadets should use that vice his first name. I have been wondering why John 117 is still a Master Chief while every spartan 3 including Jorge (spartan 2) of Noble are officers.
It's a digital DL copy yes. A directors cut with added scenes I believe.Haven't watched any of this yet.
The whole thing is included in the LE right? Because I have it preordered
