Going out of my way to replace my XB1 analog sticks with my 360 ones before playing this today.
For some inexplicable reason, I am awful at FPS games with XB1 analogs. Performed a lot better on 360.

Why would they block 3 symbol length service tags? I've had "C06" in Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo 4. Everybody recognized me with that tag (and several of my friends with other 3 symbol tags since H3). What the fuck.

Thanks, I finally got it to work. Had to turn off the Xbox One, relaunch the MCC and then it let me download it.

I think this will work like the Reach beta where they start small and then build up the content over time.
First week is just the two maps.

21 - 10 first game. Still diggin' it.
Still miffed at the strength of some automatics, though. I missed one shot with my BR and got outgunned by an AR at mid-range.

AR is weak compared to the SMG
Stuck on searching too. What is it with the Chief Collection and this game never letting you back out of shit when it gets hung up. I can still press start and change options, so for the love of god put another setting to go back to the main menu in there. So tired of having to reset these games in the dashboard.

It's really not OP at all... A good pistol/BR player will beat it everytime. They simply made it viable now.
yeah but you'll be teamed with noobs too, and it's ONLY based on wins. If I go 20-5 and my team goes 20-45, I rank down.
Can't even start searching in Slayer, it just has a red warning triangle next to it and in the corner says "No Rank - 10 matches to qualify", but I don't know if that means to qualify for a rank or to qualify searching in slayer. Tried closing an restarting the game and booting from MCC. Nothing yet. Trying to restart console now.
EDIT: Got it working now! Just restarted the console and it let me search now. Loading slayer now! Excited!

Nowhere near OP.
It's just that it now provides a fighting change for those without a BR.
As some have already said, a competent player with a BR, DMR or even a pistol will come out on top most of the time.

Can't get into a match. I connect and find players but then everything starts flashing wildly and matchmaking fails. Awesome.
