Could be, but they also showed Battle of Noctus in a playable state at Gamescom in June and it didn't ship with the game. Nothing so far has impressed me to the point where I'd consider these updates as great service. It all seems like content that should have been there from the start.
H5's launch was more than barebones, which is really sad, since it's actually a good MP game.
Seeing that H2 BR, hearing those classic shots.. feels damn good.

To each their own, but map count wise, H5 was basically on par or better than past releases.
I just think to assume a map is "done" because it's briefly shown a couple months before release doesn't mean it's actually ready to ship.
I completed my placement matches for the community playlist...
Of the maps I played Overpass was my favorite. Nice clean sightlines.
The Pit map played terrible the couple games I played... The map is really small. Or maybe it just seems smaller because of the Spartan abilities... Not a fan tho.

Don't know about that. The map count was inflated with Forge maps and duplicates of Warzone maps.
Also, I haven't said the map was done. I said it was cut from launch, because it didn't make it in time. I just wonder how much stuff wasn't ready.

I put my deadzones to zero, use an aim acceleration of 1, and a sensitivity of 3 or 4. It's helped me a out a ton, but may be too slow for your liking. I may up the settings once I get more acclimated to the game.
H5 launched with 9 maps not counting the BO forge maps & 3 assault variants, that is absolutely in line with the rest of the series.

I set my inner deadzone to 0% and outer deadzone to 15% and the Look Acceleration to 2. It made a world of difference to me. Here is the official run down of the changes in case you didn't see it.

Destiny's content drought means I've been playing a lot more Halo lately. It's pretty much my go-to podcast-listening game at this point. I'm probably not as much as some, but I'm contributing towards those commendations! Just hit SR48 last night I think? Anyway, if you came to hear me beg, you'll be disappointed (but still don't kick me out!).

I'm sure assassinations will start becoming more natural as I keep playing, but I have yet to record one in any game be it warzone or arena. Really strange to be honest. I've never been a fan as they leave you somewhat vulnerable, but if I ever get the opportunity I'll do them.

I got 2 or 3 today while in camo playing WZ assault. Assassinations are much easier when the enemy can't see you. lol
They probably left Spartan Companies that already had half of the progress to start from scratch. Good luck to them I guess!
I'd given up on the Twitch stream so I need to catch the VOD later. What were the highlights?

Yeah, I would love it if someone with the know-how could snag all the images from February's sneak peek.
Oh yeah? Me and my buddies loved it, but we only played once to be fair. The small map with the round middle area was our least favorite to play but I bet it would be fun to watch pros play it because of the lack of hiding spots.

I'm guessing there are quite a few people who haven't played in weeks, if not longer. I wish there was a way to see people's activity. It's kind of bummer to look at the SC stats and have no idea what your own contribution is or what other people are up to. It only shows the total company's stats and a few people who have the top stats.

Hell yeah. It's super refreshing to see new map names listed under Breakout. The maps I've played on so have been pretty good and real interesting. Favourite so far has been Pylon I think. Only done three matches so far.
