Hmm, was this game last night around 9 to 10 pm PST? If so That guy with the IC might have been ME. LOL. That's exactly how I ended my first game on that map. I grabbed a dropped IC, went around the corner to the Warden and blasted him. Game Over.

Edit: Wait, my mind is completely gone on this because I have some very important things to do today and have been busy preparing between. No, waypoint says my game was only 4 hours ago.

Only time I know of people getting reqs/req points was when they were refunding people for the bugged HCS pack.

But even if people did get free reqs maaaaan it's so nitpicky to be upset over that.

I did like the feel of it last night when I tried it. I'll have to toy around with it some and maybe stop selling 100% of my speed boosts back. It seems like it is getting a lot of complaints elsewhere though.

yeah i backed off the pros because i didnt know they werent using their personal profiles when playing tournies. braxzy informed me they were on dev ones with no resitrictions where all reqs were available.

i guess i shouldn't have said hate lol. it's more that it gives me bad vibes when they say something yet it's not entirely true.

and i agree with them having exclusive items is okay, just them saying they don't get any free reqs when they clearly do is the issue. that is all, that is all.

I think the spartan company roster is buggy. It only shows who is 'online' if you have them as a friend. I think someone said that earlier.

I noticed it too. Is that a bug though or is it supposed to show 'offline' unless they are your friends? That wouldn't make much sense if it was supposed to be like that but you never know.

It's a very different Warzone map from those we've played in the past, which is good IMO.

The change was jarring but it is good that we got a map that is different. I guess they couldn't have all been the same style maps forever. I should have expected something radically different.

I haven't figured out if it is or not yet. I mean, first glance does make it seem that way but is killing six people in rapid succession going to be an extremely common thing with that combo? It really looked like SOMEONE from that group outside HAD to have seen him in there at one point, I could have sworn during a kill that an enemy was outside was facing inward and was going to be coming in and then no one did. They were only focused on killing one guy outside there, someone should have gone in. But I could easily see myself dying to that by panicking and forgetting to boost backwards or thinking I can time the melee right or not even paying attention and no seeing it coming in the first place. Time will tell if it is some kind of OP thing or not but I hope I can try it with some success. Then again, if I can score a bunch of kills and so well with that combo, maybe it does mean there is something wrong it.

I don't expect it to have many bugs at all I'm kinda just assuming they want feedback on gameplay aspects... Stuff like difficulty curves, dynamic objectives, etc.

Getting a multi kill with a speed boost and SC requires you getting back to top speed each time, so you need room to actually perform the charges. Seems like there's plenty of opportunity for people to plug you full of lead in the meantime. Just because someone *can* pull off crazy sprees doesn't mean that it's inherently broken; at some point you have to choose what percentage of players being able to pull off something means it's bad. It's why you have people complain when they remove stuff like slide boosting.

Oh yeah, random thought, but I realized yesterday they re-added Urban to Warzone Assault. From what I can tell, you'll rarely if ever spawn in the nooks by the original spawn zone, instead going out towards where the monument is in Warzone. It seems like it solves the spawn killing issue, and it coincidentally makes it probably the most balanced map in terms of respawns—usually depending on the map the defenders have to set up to stem the flow of reinforcing attackers, or else the attackers have to disrupt defenders getting back to the base, but Urban's the only one I think is now set up to have both sides choose to rush the base or engage with each other so openly.

I was hoping they opened up the back doors on the Fortress to make it a bit more balanced to attack, but no. I wonder when they'll figure out that attacking the Fortress is awful.

God no. At that point you're getting into a vicious cycle of "speed up TTK on precision weapons, makes automatics pointless unless you speed up TTK" that leads inevitably into "I see I shoot you're dead before you can react."

Right now I feel like if I get killed by a BR when I'm using an AR or vice versa, it's because I didn't engage properly or didn't land my shots, not that they were using the superior weapon.

Sandbox balance as it stands is fine imo. Storm Rifle maybe wants a tweak but it's not game breaking.
