I could probably say with 99% confidence that a Needler kill will result in a super-combine, statistically speaking. Applying that to what we know about the Needle Rifle as well, there's a very slim, but entirely possible chance that the Needle Rifle can kill without a headshot or super-combine. In theory then if I did the following, I could somewhat figure out your Needle Rifle headshot rate:

Super_combine_medals - Needler_kills = Needle_rifle_super_combines
needle_rifle_kills - needle_rifle_super_combines = needle_rifle_headshots
needle_rifle_headshots / needle_rifle_super_combines = needle_rifle_headshot_rate ± .01%

I guess that .01% is pretty negligible.

Ughhhh not a fan of this either. Love the mixamp though. It ties my entire PC/360 setup so nicely.

I highly recommend the PC350/60 if you get a future headset. Sens are SO GOOD.

Btw GG last night, have to play some more MLG in the future with more of Halogaf.

Silent Cartographer on CEA down, along with the terminal and skulls. Couldn't do the jump with plasmas, but landed the backward rocket jump on my first try. Took a long time lugging stuff around.

The exterior art in the new skin is great, though it felt like the ring was less pronounced. The interior art was a step back, particularly with the poor wall and floor detailing. There's a lot of interesting stuff there with the original textures, but the new versions are just simple patterns.

The terminal just reinforces my view that 343 Guilty Spark is the most sympathetic character in the Halo trilogy. His story arc was a tragic one, and the added background makes it even more so. Thus far the terminals are my favorite addition to the game, excellently done across the board. Noticeable linkages to Cryptum as well.

Yeah I'm sure you're right.. I was mostly kidding. But if someone could come up with a FF gametype with the settings and guidelines for the game... It would be interesting to see who could come up with the highest score/fastest time. Could even issue a custom challenge for it.

I have a pretty nice surround sound setup. Is there really any need for me to get a headset that's super expensive?

If I didn't know that you aren't the big fan of Cryptum, I'd recommend you to read Primordium asap. But it still has the flaws you criticized at Crypum.

I think you can get a supercombine and headshot kill

Just tested this to make sure. If you put two needles into the body and add a 3rd to the head, it only counts as a headshot, bot a super-combine.

If you got that and like it I would just keep it.

Personally for me I went through quite a bit of headsets over the year and finally decided to get one that could double as good headphones too. I don't have surround sound either. If you are looking for a headset and don't mind spending Astro a40's are a way to go, if you want to go cheaper I've heard good things about Turtle Beach.

I'm looking for at least:

- Armor Walkers (I have film, need the gametype/map)
- The stockpile map where warthogs drive down the gauntlet with the enemy team throwing plasmas all along the way trying to stick you/knock you off the road (need film and gametype/map)
- Updated Stealin' Your Flags (I have old film/map/gametype) Was wondering if it had been updated recently
- Jump Rope (Need film and map/gametype)
- Nom Nom (?) The infection map with wraiths (zombies) with no canons that are trying to splatter the ghosts (humans) - Need film and map/gametype

Any others you guys like you've been playing recently? "Cawk Blawkin" is fun too.. I have it's old film/map/gametype.

Please also specify whether they follow infection set ups or FFA, 4v4, etc...

Damn, I remember I had a hugeass list of Action Sack gametypes, it was probably deleted when the Optimach forums died.

I am planning to pick it up when it hits paperback. Despite my griping about the writing style and narrative, the actual story and universe Bear wrote about have continued to occupy my thoughts since completing it. I guess I'm saying, I found Cryptum more interesting than enjoyable.

And given that it's also going to payoff (and already is starting to), that's enough for me to continue with the series.

In your xbox live voice settings turn it down to 4. Its an over voltage issue. Something that was fixed in the MLG controller which is one of the many reasons I'm sad it didnt work for me.

I have changed the controller already because I thought it was a shitty controller. But it still happens. So yeah I guess I will be changing the wire.
