Do it. Do it.
Really love that Spartan Ops is continuing the story after Halo 4 didn't think it would be a lot but so far judging from the past 2 episodes I was completely wrong.
Since we have 10 episodes I am expecting a Didact reappearance.
Far Cry 3 has been getting some pretty high marks. But what to get with it? Curious about FarCry 3 or Pokemon B/W2.

2. Because JIP is exactly what Halo needed IMO. Quitters and having to play games with lopsided teams was one of the biggest issues with Halo. Some of us don't care about joining a losing game. Some of us don't give a shit about K/D or W/L ratios. Some of us play a GAME to have FUN. I know it's shocking, but we do.

Now that isn't to say we don't play to win, that's not the case. However, we aren't so stuck up our own asses about or K/D W/L ratios that joining a game half way through is going to make us lose our shit because or E-peen got reduced by a notch.
JIP absolutely screws me over 99% of the time playing solo. But what makes me rage harder than JIP is starting matches 5v2, 4v1, 5v3 etc... Really 343i
Aye, people are forgetting the cancer of quitting that plagued previous Halo games. JiP isn't without fault, but it is absolutely better than what we had before.
I've had a few games where me and friends have joined on the losing team and it's been like a case of "come on the lads, let's fix this shit" and we've gone on to win.
I concede it's much harder to do that when you're playing solo.
You say things like "play a GAME to have FUN" as if you have some universal description as to what constitutes "fun." This is so obviously a misguided opinion and has been literally beaten to death here on HaloGAF. Fun is not some universal truth that applies to all players in all situations. Some players love AR starts, some love campaign scoring, some love competetive balanced matches, some just like trolling their own team by blowing up vehicles. None of these groups are necessarily exclusive of one another, but they're definitely all "fun" to certain groups of gamers.
For example; I personally don't give a shit about gametypes like race or grifball. I never really played them very much and I personally wouldn't care if they were in or out of the game. But I can't talk down to race or grifball players and tell them that their way of enjoying a game isn't the "fun" way to play it. That would be condescending and make me into more of an asshole than I already am.
If you're attempting to force the Join in Progress on everyone in the name of "fun" you need a better argument. Giving the option to players to toggle JIP on and off might possibly make it less "fun" for you, but would greatly increase the enjoyment of others. So who's version of "fun" is more important?
But but but JIP will totally solve that and even out the teams almost, like, instantaneously. There's no way you'll get spawn trapped or lose two flag caps before anyone else matches into the game. Right?

The first one and Wahrer Machines are just incredible.I just announced the winners of my Halo 4 Notebook comeptition. There's some cracking entries, well worth a look.
Are hills held by the blue team blue, and unoccupied hills... blue?
The first one and Wahrer Machines are just incredible.
Maybe when they create that no perks no ordanance no quick spawn game type they can also add in no JIP for it.
For me I have limited time when I get the time to play, so I need to get into games fast and I want to be spawning fast alongside it.
The only way I see 343i winning here with the various fans and trying to appease them all is to just add more variety for playlists. A 4v4 slayer and a 4v4 objective play list that cuts all the H4 stuff out of it seems the best way to go about it. No run, no DMR, BR starts, no ordnance, no quick spawn, and no JIP. Anything else?
Call of duty happenedI miss pre-Reach Halo; the gameplay, the art, the story, it was all so good. What happened?
So much this. And as someone who almost never plays online games in a full party, being wildly outnumbered affects my enjoyment far more than whatever the current score is.
FWIW, JIP has a lot to do with why I've been googling how much I could fetch for a used copy of Halo 4. Every other day or so, I think I might want to try it again. Then I'm reminded that odds are I'll just get air dropped into some game in progress, on the losing end. And it just saps any desire I have to put the disc in.2. One of the Reach vidocs iirc. What's this gif from?
We were told before launch that #2 was the case. Apparently they just lied to our faces.2 ways to fix JiP:
1)Party leader can select a feature that prevents your party from being matchmade into a game in progress
2)Make a match ineligible for JiP after a set time (~2 minutes maybe?) or if the score gap is huge

It's not the only reason. But it's the one I think of first when I consider going back to Halo 4.
Call of duty and Gears have it, so I doubt is a glitchI'm assuming that's a glitch. Or at least I hope lol

Hey guys what's going on in this threa-
YES I INVENTED THIRD PLACE
So happy to have placed. I had fun working on my journal entry thing. Thanks for having the contest, Shadders!
To the BTB discussion: DMRs are completely fucking up my idea of fun in BTB. Make it the same kill time as the DMR, give it an identical (shorter) range and be done with it. I want open BTB maps again, not this Meltdown/Vortex-styled clusterfuck stuff. I think Ordnance would actually work better if people weren't being forced into encounters every 0 seconds thanks to enclosed maps and instant respawn.
You traded in the game already ?
Camo should make you EASIER to see on the radar if it's gonna make one invisible.

This only makes sense if there's a mechanism for players to end a losing match or if matches just ended on their own at that point. You guys basically see it as pointless to keep playing a losing match right? This is made only worse by having a losing match with lopsided teams without the possibility of reinforcements, which is what you would subject players to by removing JIP.2)Make a match ineligible for JiP after a set time (~2 minutes maybe?) or if the score gap is huge

Camo should just have been a power-up like overshield. Damn you Bungie for starting this, what were they thinking. Honestly 343i could have made it one but decided to make it even more of a nuisances.
