This is actually a pretty valid criticism; Connor is one boring protagonist, especially after playing as the Italian for three games.
Really, they should have just put Ezio in a time machine and brought him to the 1700's. It wouldn't even be in the top 5 silliest moments in the franchise!

Controls are 'streamlined' to the point where the character doesn't do what you want him to
Terrible mission designs
Loads of bugs and glitches (visual and gameplay wise)
Loads of redundant features that were implemented but never explained to the player
A 6 hour opening with a character that's 10000x better than Connor
Connor is boring; voice actor is dull and doesn't give off any emotion
Story is all about revenge and the Assassin/Templar conflict takes a back seat. Missions are dull and extremely linear
Cutscenes every 10 seconds
Ending sucks
I could go on, but they're the main parts.
Every time I go over there the other team has already shifted to the sides or the opposite end.
You know, 60 frames would help the faster pace of H4.

You really have to buy Dishonored. I know you'll enjoy it. Just don't rush through it like you did with Deus Ex
Also, half the fun comes when you try to be stealthy. The game is substantially less fun if you just go in gun (or sword/crazy powers) blazing.

Just finished the campaign, damm it was good but WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK at the legendary ending...

Still haven't completed Deus Ex. I was playing on the most difficult setting and now I'm stuck at a bossfight, in which my augmentations don't work, because I got a chip. It's frustrating, because I can't do anything...
What's the FPS of Murder Miners?
The cinematics remind me a lot of Final Fatasy: The Spirits Within (in a very good way). That movie is still amazing for a CGI movie and it's 11 years old...
I think there's a way to cheese that fight but I don't remember if you can do it when chip'd. Check on youtube.

Yeah the boss fights in my opinion, are the only bad things about Deus Ex. I had the same problem you had. If all else fails, you could turn the difficulty down. But that would ruin the achievement for completing the game on the highest difficulty.
Of course, you could do a second playthrough without upgrading the chip. I'm thinking about doing a 6th playthrough soon

Also Robbert I am planning on getting Dishonoured rather than renting it so I wont have to rush it lol, Dues Ex was still good as a rental though.

In my opinion it tried to copy some of its elements, and those elements are better in CoD, so a partial yes to both questions.

It'd actually be refreshing to see someone within 343 giving a shit about the framerate. Would maybe give me a little hope, that maybe, just maybe, they want the ACTUAL game to play well. Instead of playing like a pile of shit. Even if they pulled off a perfect balance, Halo 4 doesn't play that well every game I'm faced with framerate issues which makes aiming difficult and ruins my experience. Every other game I'm matched against a party of 0 and get an instant victory...the game foundation needs to be strong before you can build anything good.

If you feel the supplemental systems are the defining factor of a game, moreso than the core, moment-to-moment game play, then absolutely.
From what I've seen, acknowledging publicly that COD exists is a big no no over at 343i. I hope this guy lands on his feet because I enjoyed playing blops' zombie mode for 10 minutes at my nephew'a place a couple of years ago.

He isn't just praising COD, which is fair and totally up to him to have his opinion and all, but he's talking about other shooters on the console and putting them down based on frame rate, never mind the whole "copycat" stuff he could have not said, that's a whole can of worms itself.

I love the game, no question, but boss fights are terrible and the german synchro is terrible, but I shouldn't complain, cause I got it for like 5.
When I complete AC3 and most of the achievments for Halo 4, I will play it probably again and see if I have a save-file before the chip. I want to do the second run without alerting or killing anybody.
I don't think so, cause your augmentations are disabled. You have that blurry vision and only your weapons to fight with. Best part about it is, that the boss is invisible and can jump over walls, so that you are totally screwed. I can't even make out the position, from where he is coming with my Astro, cause there is this loud music and this error music from your augmentations...
Xenoblade is the game of the year.

I actually really liked (two thirds of) the ending, I thought it was one of the strongest parts of the game.

His eyes were blacked out which made it pretty creepy, almost looked like Voldemort, plus I was expecting some kind of tease about Cortana still being alive... THE TEARS!
Halo 4 is like this naturally beautiful girl who dresses poorly and until she learns how to dress better she's gonna keep looking shoddy, but her body feels amazing and has a fresh air about her. She's new to all this and you gotta teach her a couple things along the way.
Black Ops 2 is like this hot cougar lady who's learned how to dress herself up and accentuate her features with makeup, but as soon as you feel up on her her skin is leathery, old and wrinkly. She's experienced and knows how to work with what she's got, but it's a bag of older goods.
Both are hot, both are fun, but both have flaws.

Even the playlists are more CoD where you get to choose the gametype you want to play.
Anyways I REAAAAALLLLLLLLY hope they think long and hard about the technical features of the next Halo. You just can't put out a Halo at the level of the other Halo's these days without some strong technology behind it to support the features.
I read it as, "as far as copy cats are concerned, they'll never touch CoD because of 60fps"

I dunno what I'd consider my GOTY this year. Probably Dishonoured because it hit the most marks, but I haven't played XCOM yet, or Sleeping Dogs, or Dragon's Dogma, or Mark of the Ninja, so I missed a whole bunch. I don't pick up a lot of brand new games and I got a backlog that I like chipping away at.

You guys should calm down. People make mistakes sometimes and we shouldn't read much into it.
I agree, that Halo 4 could be, with small additions a much better game, but it is what it is, for now. Here's hoping, that the next gen Xbox Halo game will be absolutely awesome and we get most of our concerns fixed.

I thought it was necessary, cause the HUD had bugs and I didn't payed that much attention, at this point in the game. Was a horrible mistake, I know.

I'm pretty sure I tested it, but I seriously can't remember. Last time I played, was 2 months ago, I think.
