Haha, my brother pointed this out to me last week. Halo gametypes in Dutch sound absolutely ridiculous. Also laughing really hard at ''Knokpartij'' and ''Team Actie'' :lol
And I still have to look properly at the medal page. A splatter translated to Dutch is ''vermorzelaar'' looool

I just have too wonder who had to come up with those translations. Would that person realize how ridiculous those names sounds?

Nice infograph Karl. It'd be cool if we could look at everyone's playlist-specific stats like TrueSkill rank (from Halotracker), win rate, K/D/A, and placing on the leaderboards. We did have some Squad Slayer champions in here IIRC.

I remember getting off of work at night and hopping on to play Reach with you, Bregmann, Franklinator, Aggro, and a ton of other people basically every night. Good times

I miss it so much. Reach had some major downsides, but at least there was enough of a community around it to get games going regularly. Things fell apart bad after Halo 4. Crossing all my appendages for a revival with Halo 5.

Didn't Neill Blomkamp say in a interview if he made a Halo movie he would want to change a lot of things to his vision?

But isn't it because Reach started that decline and Halo 4 solidified it? Reach was my least played Halo game until Halo 4. There was tons of frustration, I didn't even buy the Defiant DLC and pretty much stopped playing after Bungie day 2011 etc. And I think the reason I abandoned Halo 4 so quick is because I couldn't stand another Reach.

Reach was fine for the most part, since it was a spin off i dont give it as much crap like some do. If it was a master chief numbered game then i can understand. It was bungies final Halo game and they wanted to see if they can try some different things. The thing is at least Reach still felt like Halo, sprint was at least not default,pick ups and you can just feel that certain Halo look and feel when playing it. For Halo 4 they basically said lets change every single things just to call it their own like they mentioned before.

So for those of you that downloaded the sheet, these are the different tabs at the bottom and here's what each of them mean.

3-31-2012 GAF Member stats: full stats on each player; includes weapon kills, weapon deaths, k/d ratio and spread for weapons, total playtime, rank, medals, and a few other calculated statistics
Basic weapon data: What I used for the graph at the top
Per game data: On average, how often something would occur during any given game.
Weapon data on left side: You can order weapons numbers faster
Retention rates: rates for basic sprees and multikills
Rank reference: VLOOKUP table for the credit calculation

1.61 in BTB for four and 1.07 in reach without much care, it's all over the place last heavies game in reach 44 to 6 one after 21 to 4 normal BTB random's are random.
It's most four custom's I think. But lot's of us still play reach if you want to play that.

It's mutikill progression chances
Double to triple: 12.11%
Triple to over: 17.48%
Over to killtac: 30.11%
Killtac to killtrocity: 41.51%
Killtrocity to killmanjaro: 46.26%
Killmanjaro to killtastrophe: 43.91
Killtastrophe to killpocalypse: 63.23%

It's interesting that it peaks at 7 and 10, instead of lower down like I expected it to.

That's just looking at the successes from one level to the next. There's a formula(sadly, I didn't include it on the retention rates tab) that shows where most multikills end. But all you have to do is subtract that percentage from 100% and that's where they'll end.

There's also another formula that you can do to show that about 82% of kills never make it to a multikill. That formula is a bit more work, since you have to calculate where each multikill left off. Then multiply that final number by their respective multikill level and finally subtract it from the total kills.

Blizz, only got hired about a half year by 343 actually so really had nothing at all to do with H4, this drives the hype train for a good competitive ranking system in the next Halo.

I meant in the large scale, will the audience that Halo used to have come back, or is it lost forever?

I was thinking of asking this the other day, but if Halo 5 ends up being better than Halo CE... would people admit it?

I can't believe people still get wrecked by the explosive barrels on Pitfall after all these years...

Even if the game looks insane in previews, I'm waiting until a bit after release to make a decision. But yeah, I'd probably fold.

Why wouldn't people? I don't think anyone wants Halo 5 to suck.

No one wants Halo 5 to suck, but would those people who go to lengths to defend Halo CE and that have to PROVE that it is the best ever admit that Halo 5 is better than Halo CE? Nostalgia is a powerful thing, and the sour taste from Halo 4 and Reach still linger. People will find something to nitpick, you know what I mean?

Either way, I just hope it is better than at least Halo 3, Reach, and 4. I want to be able to put tons of hours into it. I haven't had a game that I can do that with since... Minecraft.

Did you ever post on Forgehub back in the day? I'm always surprised when I run into a Forgehub member on Gaf.

Yes sir, while doing my own remakes I created a network of forgers during Reach and we started a Remake collection group on b.net, I would often browse forgehub to find new map makers, ask to "bring them into the group" so I could help them polish their maps (sometimes rebuild completely..) and help them get some larger exposure, 'twas fun times.

Limitations suck. Map editor plz.

Forgehub and Blueprint member here. Went from one to the other.

Same, what were/are you in Blueprint for? A standard member or an assigned position?

I'm not sure what my imaginary internet Blueprint title is, but I believe its "Classic Team Lead"
