Then I don't get it. The custom load outs are only applicable to some playlists? That seems kind of dumb.
It would be like playing Arena in order to unlock Invasion loadouts.

At some point I may finally try it out. Been avoiding it out of sheer annoyance for the lack of CE online matchmaking, and the fact that I can pop in the campaign right now and play it. The old game still resonates with me quite well, and was completely not in need of a revision.
There would be a boatload, probably more than is still playing Reach, playing CE if they had put it out there. SO lame... And it would have been neat to see MLG maybe have a few events with the old game before 4 is released in November. How many people even played the reskinned classic more than once or twice? My xbox live account hasn't been renewed. I haven't touched Reach in probably 6 or more months. CE matchmaking would have made money and I would have suckled that food nipple into November. That's all I'm gonna say. Still gets my blood boiling and pisses me off when I think about the choice to re-skin the campaign instead of bringing out the big gun. /SMH

I think it's you have to unlock them for custom loadouts but they are already in the default loadouts. At least that's how I understood it.

You will have access to your custom loadouts in addition to the playlist-specific loadout.
It'd be cool if you could pick between the AR, BR, and DMR when you first start playing and then have to unlock the other two. Or maybe that'd actually be a really bad idea. I dunno.
DMR on big maps, AR on 4v4 maps.

Never put in my 2 cents regarding the Wu Lasergate:
I would be surprised if what Wu saw wasn't the laser. If it was some new weapon, at least one other person at the event or at MLG would've picked up on it and/or 343 would've revealed it after the fact.

I thought you'd have a default loadout with BR even before you earned it. Like in CoD, even at Rank 1 you have a bunch of stuff to use. Then you buy the stuff later to use in your custom loadouts...

So based off of what Frankie said in the bulletin, I'm guessing we won't be seeing anymore MP footage until E3? I wish E3 was still in May.
I probably will eventually. But, like I said, I just don't feel the urgent urgency when campaign is readily available on my xbox HD already.
I was thinking of grabbing a pass, but hadn't realised the registrations were up. :/
Will Forge maps in matchmaking have specific default loadouts?

Yeah, lets not count them ducks before they are hatched. Reach was supposed to be "the game of forever," lol.
It's still one of the best games on XBL, but it fell flat as hell. 343 has a lot of work to do to bring Halo back. Here's hoping they succeed.
Also, good of Frankie to do that for Ram. Always nice to have that link "displayed" between the devs and the community.

Yeah, just also want to mention how grateful I am for Ram (and subsequently Frankie) for posting that video. I didn't have a great knowledge of the condition ecept for how serious it was. I certainly never knew of the treatment the kids would need.
I'm surprised they haven't raked in enough cash to support themselves, but I'm absolutely glad that they stayed away from EA and secured favorable terms with Activision.
God yes.
Heretics, especially the ones with heavy weapons, are the absolute worst thing in FF Arcade. I don't even want to think about going up against them in Limited.
They probably have plenty of cash lying around that could cover development, but marketing costs for their style of project are in a whole other ballpark. Might as well take advantage of the upper hand they would have in any deal with any publisher on the planet at this point.
When Riccitiello came in he instituted some pretty amazing directives that people don't appreciate. The push for new IP and the EA Partners program were amazing.
They were also massive commercial failures. EA does what they do because the market allows and demands it. Activision on the other hand has always been a miserable company, they're the KISS of the video game industry.

Yeah, I followed the link over to the Waypoint discussion thread for the bulletin and it looks like people there were as struck by the video as people here were. Props to Frankie, but also to Ram for putting it out there in the first place.

During the stream it's usually little words spoken here and there. With the podcast I'm speaking for greater lengths. That's my only explanation lol
