I don't mind it at all either. At least not yet. I won't really know if it distracts me or not until I'm playing a match myself. Although sometimes I can be surprisingly blind to other things happening on screen. The amount of times I've been like ¨What the hell was I supposed to do?¨ in a game and Hydra or someone has to say ¨It popped up that you have to do this¨ is almost embarrasing. My focus on one thing can really make me lose track of another, so that might be why it doesn't bother me :p

Im buying another xbox when i have money over there but that prob wont be till early 2013. I'll be selling my xbox in august y'all can hit me up if ye want any of it. lol i'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Spiders and snakes arent too bad
Scorpians are because they dont die when u kill them with bug spray or even blunt force some sort of slow bleed through armour lock system

oh and the environment is fucked.

Feel the same way. Hopefully, 343 can see the future and know whether it will annoy me or not, and remove if so.

I hope you'll be able to choose how you wan to see the lines of text pop up yourself. You could have the version how it is right now or the classic version which displays these lines of text in the same way all the previous Halo games did it.

Very much doubt that that's going to happen. They rarely give you those kinds of options in console games.

If they do add this level of customizability then 343 is god in my eyes.

I still stand by my point that enough is already conveyed in to the player about progress in-game. Maybe I’m just overreacting just a tad bit, maybe after a couple of matches I won’t notice it anymore.

I'm looking for a good set of headphones, specifically for gaming (mostly Halo, of course). I remember that this topic pops up every now and then so there should be a few of you with experience in that regard. Some advice would be much appreciated!

Elzar suggested the Turtle Beach X12. Since they were rather cheap I got them and they're awesome.

Thanks, did a quick Amazon search and it seems to be pretty good and, in fact, not expensive.

However, I read that you could hear yourself from the headphones while speaking into the microphone during chat, etc. Is that true and does it bother you?

I've got the Turtle Beach® Call of Duty®: MW3 Ear Force® Foxtrot (EFF) Limited Edition headset. Sound is good but it's not really comfortable.

True, but you pretty much only notice it if you have the mic practically in your mouth.

You can kind of hear yourself, yes. I thought that was done on purpouse.

Might sound kind of weird for the first couple of minutes but after that you won't notice it. I like it though, I can tell if I sound like a jerk or not.
