Speaking of Reach, does anyone know what happened to Jun?It's called Motion Capture, or Mocap. It's been used for a long time but the first time it was used in Halo was Reach.

I don't really agree with the idea that having a radar makes the game slower or more campy. Whenever I play SWAT or MLG or some other no-radar mode I always find myself being far more cautious and less willing to push forward. It's kinda like Counter Strike for me in that regard.
From a camping perspective, the only thing that changes is when you can see the other player coming. Other than that campers gonna camp. When I think of no-radar modes, I think of how easy it is to camp a normal and still run up behind them and assassinate or something.
Depends on the kinda player I guess.
Do you know how they worked in those other games?
Wasn't it used for Reach too? Speaking of Reach, does anyone know what happened to Jun?

That's what he said in the post you quoted...
It's actually explained in The Thursday War.
A better question is why do The Storm have Grunts and Jackals.
Been avoiding Halo 4 campaign footage. Can someone explain why there are humans other than the chief in the game?

To anyone that played at PAX.
How is not getting knocked out of scope when being shot? I still find this very strange. It's been one of the most consistent things throughout the Halo series multiplayer.
It will require more playtime before I really offer any grand opinion, but I kinda liked it. It also helped avoid the "scoping in when you don't want to/un-scoping when you want to scope" scenarios.
Also, it was great to meet some of you at PAX! It sucks having to head back home.

Let's say you're playing Construct. I use Construct because it had the most pronounced difference in gameplay from default to no radar. When you get top control, you can still see where the other team is on the bottom using your radar. If you see them go towards one lift, your whole team can go towards that lift and ambush them once they get to the top. If you don't have radar you can't tell which lift they're going to take until they take it, giving you less time to set up for that lift. If you put your whole team on one lift there are two more the other team can use. If you spread out your team between the lifts the other team can swarm up one lift and overwhelm the person there.I just don't see how the bolded is true. Take the lifts. Why is it less likely that someone will camp lifts? They can hear you coming up. Radar has really nothing to do with it there.
Someone camping with a shotty or sword is going to camp regardless of having a radar because the awareness is always benefitting the camper. Without radar, the camper can only hear footsteps, panting or gunshots that are not their own and so they will always have far more awareness than someone who is wandering.
Radar certainly makes camping easier but I just don't think that not having a radar reduces it in any significant manner.
Didn't use that perk because I got pro real fast at strafing and dodging bullets. To anyone that played at PAX.

I went from scrub baby to MLG amateur in like 5 minutes, sorry I couldn't help you answer your question.
"could not load movie" gotta love mobile youtube
A friend posting about Frankie on another forum I frequent:
"I always feel like that bald headed guy will be on America's Most Wanted."
Must be nice to know you project a dangerous persona when on camera. People fear you Frankles...

The red wave expands like a sonar wave.
38 helmets. I can dig.
typo is in the title of the video too
Loving the BR and the Shotgun in this. And the DMR of course. I'm getting seriously hyped to play the MP portion of this game, the gunplay looks ace and if the AAs are not as dominating as before this could be seriously great.
Not being looked at through walls is still better than knowing you're being looked at through walls.Awesome, great job noticing!
The naysayers really have their work cut out for them now, even if they are out of radar range (25m?) you could still see the ripple from quite a ways away
As I understand it, flag carrier doesn't have sprint but does have an increased base speed.I just thought of something, can you sprint with the flag? If not you essentially are moving slower like in past Halo games, now that sprint is a standard feature, only change is carrying the magnum (which is neat BTW).

So is there any reason not to use the DMR? It seems so absurdly powerful in Halo 4, I don't see why anyone would ever choose a different starting weapon. It's powerful, really accurate, and has a decent-sized clip. Even at mid-range, it seems as though it performs better than the BR.
I really hope it doesn't become the go-to weapon after release. I'd love to see some variety.

UMM, I must have missed the call? WHAT!
343 pls: nillapuddin626, at your service, will work for nothing in return whatsoever
People killed by the Boltshot don't disintegrate. Interesting..
where is this from?SD: Is it strictly an objective map or is it also a slayer map?
... There's another map we haven't revealed yet that is in some ways bigger and more wide open ...
... than that that we all assumed, for various historical reasons, that there's no way that would be suitable for smaller teams ...
... but we were playing with four people the other day on that huge map, and it just works.
BLOOD GULCHCOAG!!
probably BG
SD: Earlier you mentioned Theatre and Forge, is Spartan Ops something you can use Theatre in, and are we going to get any more information before launch about Theatre or Forge?
You will get more information before launch about Theatre and Forge, and that's all i'm going to say about that at this point ...
... but we are working with Community Cartographers to have some Forge content ready and File Shares for launch ...
... so you'll get, hopefully, some classic remakes and some interesting looks at how the new lighting engine ...

Really like the new shotgun design.
Elites have very specific motivational ideas about staff job security.
According to Bungie he is still alive, however I would take that as dubious canon as it wasn't shown in game or said in any other material and 343 could just as well say he was dead without actually retconing anything.Speaking of Reach, does anyone know what happened to Jun?

We've heard that you can't drop the flag and that's fine, but can we please have it added to custom games for leagues like MLG? Also will there be a way to disable auto-pickup for flag/oddball? There seems to be uncertainty there.
