Oh Seattle, I love your city and food, but somehow 6 days of walking 5+ miles per day did little to negate what I ate. Insanity about killed me in my first workout in 2.5 weeks.

Not mad at all more skeptical. Besides it sounds like your trusting random people way too much. Wait until you pick up the flag and your teammates have no idea how to even shoot their weapon. My post are all based around playing CTF alone with randoms. The new CTF will be totally different with a team obviously.

I just partially joking/just wanted to say u mad, but I don't think that will change much. Objective gametypes by yourself is always going to be a risk, and 343 has added tons of point incentives in the scoring/investment system and the HUD elements will help, but you'll still have randoms that just don't work together at all. There isn't really much anyone can do about that, it's going to happen.
Press RB to melee, or better yet, just shoot your gun.
Melee is the same in TU settings as vanilla.

To workoutGAF: any easy ways to just flat-out burn fat? I'm not really looking to build muscle at all, I just want to lose weight.
Check out Muscle Pharms's facebook page. They post a workout/fat burner workout of the day each day. I'm currently 190, building to 200. Their products/workouts are great for anyone. Plus, if you ever have any questions about an exercise they have The MPtrainingvideos Youtube channel.

Yea I like the animation, but watching it in slow motion makes it look like it's coming out of the spartan's ass haha

Yep.
It takes a good 2-3 seconds for the animation to finish though, which really limits its usage.
I think the animation for it is pretty cool, like a DBZ going Super Saiyan thing...but green.

I don't think they're going to limit AA's or weapons by playlist unless it's something like Snipers, Swat, Grifball, Infection, etc etc. But I don't know. Pretty sure people would get aggravated if their favorite loadout didn't work in a playlist that didn't force starting weapons.

Hmm, I wouldn't quite see ME as the one being salty. You know, being that you have been the one dumping on Halo 4 all day.
Eventually you just have to realize that some things are not going to change before ship, so you either deal with them, or don't buy the game.
I'm all for discussion, but when people complain about this thread being on repeat, then go on to dredge up the same issue over and over it starts to get bothersome.
See above. Eventually you either deal with it, or don't buy the game. It was a design decision, it's not changing, why keep bringing it up?

I expressed one aspect of H4 not being able to drop flag. You guys are defending everything anyone has to say negatively towards H4.

I wonder if you get points for healing teammates.

Oh baby, if nothing else Unlimited Slayer will be godly in Halo 4. Now I don't have any incentive to play the game legitimately. Just imagine getting overshields and care packages because we spawn kill people in their base over and over. You know matchmaking will be as broken as ever too. Going to be super relaxing.

Split your team up, set up turrets on both sides overlooking their "base" and move in.
Profit.
It doesn't need to, just chain it. It's an area effect, heal your buddies, then they use theirs, keep alternating.

Drop Shield in Objective gametypes. Never forget.
So instead of changing the entire gametype to make it less intimidating/confusing wouldn't it also work to just have a splash screen in the lobby that says "this is how you play CTF" or "these are the rules of Oddball" during the lobby building/voting phase?
Although then drop in / drop out people wouldn't get the info...
Drop Shield period.
Regen I can see as being usefull as it can affect a team/area. Camo, Jetpack, and Hardlight can all go with the day 1 patch.
