God my internet sucks today. Think my dad might be watching some HD channels or something. Mine is still downloading.

Stupid Hotmail account limit. Oh well, I've sent 4, pretty decent.

Just keep hitting random numbers until the boxes are filled, I tried to put in a US phone number and it didn't work for some reason.

I get the same thing. Are you in the US? If not it`s not going to work :(

EDIT: Unless you try proxies, I haven`t had such luck with them, but they seem to work for others!
 
Playing FFA stuff now, but infuriating at those who don't seem to know how to play. Got Oddball on Swordbase, first time playing. I did get a mid-air assassination, which was awesome.

Hey Guys, I know a few of people who work in GAME and they are in the beta through expertzone so if you are in the UK you might want to use a GAME store and see if that works.

After 2 hours:

1. Pistol is back
2. DMR takes more practice to use than Nerfle. Nerfle takes more shots, but is easier to use, as opposed to the DMR which is a little harder to use. I like how they balanced the two without making them carbon copies.

I guess I'll join in the begging for a code. I've been a slave to bungie/waypoint on twitter and facebook for way too long now. I'm a Red Wings fan if that helps persuade anyone?
 
Ugh I want a code so bad. From the way it looks though I doubt I'll be getting a code anytime soon. :/


Trying to do the expert zone thing (I live in Canada) and I'm golden up until I click the link to go to the HQ. There it tells me I'm an unauthorized user.
 
Got lucky and got in. It's A LOT different from Halo 3. And I love it. It's definitely more tactical. I find myself playing a tad slower, and thinking about survivability more than in previous Halo games. Which is a good thing for me. So far I've been rolling with Sprint. I'm so used to having it now from CoD and BC2, that I like having it to escape sticky situations or close the gap quickly with opponents. I'll post more when I get back from the gym but so far it feels a little bit like new hotness, plus classic Halo: CE feel.

A few individual notes.

- Just from my first few games this feels like the most balanced Halo game ever.
- The DMR is awesome. How "awesome" it is depends completely on who's using it, and how you use it.
- Sword Base feels like a Halo: CE map.

My favorite moment from the beta so far...Someone picked up one of the new weapons...That Covenant one that kind of launches salvos of plasma grenades. I come up to him with my DMR out and he charges his weapon up and I hear him yell, as I'm unloading on him..."HOW THE FUCK DO I SHOOT THIS THING?":lol I killed him before he got a shot off. Haha.
 
I managed to get a code using a US proxy ip adress in firefox, TY for those who are helping everyone here! damn this whole process is like a drug.

A quick guide to getting a code if you live outside of the us:

Go to http://expertzone.microsoft.com/home.aspx and sign in using your msn passport.
Sign up page will appear, fill in details (I think of a game store in the US, to be safe)
Website sends you confirm email, check it to confirm.
While logged in on expertzone, head to Xbox and Games > Overview
Click the ODST advert asking you to take the test

Now for this bit you need a US ip, in firefox head to TOOLS > OPTIONS, NETWORK tab > SETTINGS button.

Click the MANUAL PROXY button and enter 174.143.220.135, use PORT 80, click the all protocals box, then OK the changes.

Now on the REACH expertzone page, click GO TO COURSE, because you are using a US proxy it will work, but slowly.

Awnser the questions and follow the given info and link, now you have a beta key!

Stuck on the bolded part above. There's an ODST ad on the page but I can't seem to click it, don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
I love the Needle Rifle, which I thought I would hate. It's awesome when you miss the head shots, but get rewarded with a super combine :D

Isn't too hard to see how many accounts (on ExpertZone) were created today, got a beta code, then find out which console used that code...

At least I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard
