I don't seem to much of a problem with it anyway, as the person crouch shooting is a crouching duck and such.

Ok I've read each of your posts and tried it myself in game, but I cannot make sense of what you're saying.

Are you simply saying that the reticule bloom is LESS when you're crouching? ie it recovers quicker allowing you to get off your shots faster with more accuracy

I read your post and tried to notice a difference in game between crouching and not crouching, and I couldn't see much of a change. If you could elaborate a bit more I think we would all appreciate it.

edit: jelyk or five! Are either of you available? Dax and I need two more.

edit2: I've noticed my post isn't whiny enough... Doesn't fit the flow of the thread... Uhmm I want more grenades?

I disagree. Multiple Powerhouse areas don't seem tailored at all for this new jump height, and you see people all the time fumbling multiple times trying to do pathetic jumps that seemed easy until they get frustrated and just go around.
yup, doesnt seem like there are enough "just barely" jumps that you can make on powerhouse and the "easy" ones that are there that are already hard enough.

The only jumps I can remember repeatedly failing on Powerhouse are the corner of the wall leading up Ridge, although it can be cleared with a sprint-jump, the corner of the stairs leading up to Shed (because I always try to shave off a second here), and most of all the goddamn jump up to Lockers when you're coming from the water.

Only the last annoys me.
 
I would love an increase in jump height. There are a few jumps on both maps that would be amazing but I can't do them because I can't jump high enough.

The difference between red and blue Elites is pretty clear to me, and I'm partially colour-blind. You guys need to load up your Halo 3 calibration disc and get to work, I think.

They meant for one color to be the primary, and another is? This does not seem complex. Bugs happen. The piont is, it was identified and fixed. (Like a host of other stuff that's been pointed out.)

I don't see the issue....

The more I play, the more I like, but I still think so things have to be tweaked.

Yes, everything has probably been mentioned, but I enjoy typing my thoughts so deal.
  • Spartan base speed is too slow.
  • Spartan jumps need to be floaty again. You can barely gap anything with the jump now.
  • I think the DMR and NR would benefit from one less shot to kill.

Is it just me or do the guns become super inaccurate as soon as an enemies shields go down?

It's not like choices are never mistakes. See Halo CE Pistol, MW2 multiplayer.

A bug isn't necessary a technical error, it's any instance where the game doesn't play or behave as planned. In this case, they planned for the two teams to be visually distinct, and the 'bug' is that the teams, through whatever error or lapse in attention, are not visually distinct.

I know this is a really minor thing, but eh.

My controller is somewhat broken - the microphone port only works about half the time.

In Halo 2, a little microphone symbol would come up when your mic was plugged in.

In Halo 3, and now in Reach, instead of that microphone, there is a little picture of the controller button with one of the lights hilighted.

Just so I can know if my mic is working without constantly tapping it, it'd be very much appreciated if the old mic symbol came back, at least as an option.

If, of course, there's some reason for the lil controller symbol that I don't know about, no biggie - I just liked the mic.

  • I think the DMR and NR would benefit from one less shot to kill. Agree. Also the pistol would benifit with an additional 1 or 2 bullets per magazine. May OP it though :/

I want to rage about the melee system, but I'm not in the mood.

I'd probably include the focus rifle in that rage, too. It needs to have smaller reticule. I hate that gun.

I say buddy to pretty much everyone I encounter. It's not you it's me :D Many apologies.
