Oddly enough, I feel the exact opposite, to the point of the "floaty" gravity and soft-landing of the Spartans being a consistent problem for me in the context of grenades, corpses and other objects with simulated weight in Halo 3. While you say "this doesn't feel like Halo" that's honestly why I'm interested in checking it out, same goes for the overarching mechanics of AA's and loadouts.

Yeah, appears we're in the same boat. I'm interested in seeing the changes, not what feels the same. I haven't played a halo mp game in years so, I really don't know what i'm going to think. It can bring me back the feeling halo 1 did (was a huuuge fan) or it can be another halo 3 (found it ultimately dull).

It's definitely different. Armor Lock is definitely not as overpowered as some people thought it would be. Every weapon seems to have its use, something I can't say the same for any other FPS I've played.

I'm very happy with it from what I've played.

Really nice to see so many people getting F&F codes.

Unfortunately, I'll be absolutely swamped in university work until at least the 6th of May, so even having to wait until Monday means little to me. That's okay though, since Invasion launches on the 7th and it's the mode I most wanted to try by far. It still sucks to be missing out on a quarter of the Beta run, but there's not much I can do about that.

Ghaleon's issues with the player movement and gunplay have me a bit worried, but then again, H2 and H3 felt rather different to me at first, and I ultimately got used to them just fine.
