To the guy who said they would have more codes tonight, does that roll into the people who have already taken the quiz?

I only played a few quick games as I'm supposed to be working but I must agree with Ghaleon regarding the jumping. I'm what I would consider a Halo game jumper. It all stemed from all of the shortcuts from Lockout since Halo2. The way you jump in Reach feels like gravity is amplied 1.5x and your jump is so much shorter and the way down is so much faster. This will take a lot of getting used to on my part.
Also trying to learn that melee is now on the right thumper isn't working for me. I'm too used to the B button being the melee. I'm too old to change... :lol
dslgunstar said:Are you out of your ever-loving mind? Halo 3 destroys Halo 2. I'm hoping the jump from Halo 3 to Reach provides at least as much improvement as the jump from Halo 2 to Halo 3.
I Hope so :/ But this will happen, when i'm sleeping.Genesis Knight said:I don't think there's a limit on the codes they have or they wouldn't have offered it to their entire ExpertZone audience ( a TON of people). The site is fragile, though, and breaks every time they put out something big, like Elites for $199 back when that was a big deal. So when they come back online you should be able to go back into the ODST quiz and get your code. Again, I doubt they have a limit since EZ already has thousands and thousands of members.

IE? :lol :lol :lolPlywood said:A code for example: AUSHD-13SAW-25XVW-UNI31-ASAEU <-- NOT AN ACTUAL CODE. gets recognized as a long line of text on the redeem code feature on xbox.com when using Internet Explorer.
Pandoracell said:hmm, well I can't sit and refresh expert zone all day so I guess i'll just have to get lucky when I check. Thanks for the info.
To those who DID get an expert zone code, where exactley does it appear at, so I know where to look?
JambiBum said:You have to submit your email address then they email it to you.
You have to go back through the learn more thing about ODST, then hit the button that says go to retail HQ. Only problem is that when you hit that button the page is down. That's what everyone is waiting on.Pandoracell said:Where? Was it just a page at the end of the quiz or something?
IIRC, the Halo 2 codes won't be F&F codes.Letters said:BUNGIE WHEN ARE THE HALO 2 CODES GETTING SENT OUT??

It's impossible to get one through twitter, trust me and tons o' dudes.Letters said:BUNGIE WHEN ARE THE HALO 2 CODES GETTING SENT OUT??

If every hack website and twitter dude got some codes, goddamit the halo 2 players should also be in on the f&f
Maybe, that happen to me :/Genesis Knight said:You finish the quiz, go back to the main page. Click through to "Halo Reach Retail Home". Now the site knows you've finished the quiz and has a button that says "Get your code". You press it, type in your email, and boom it's in your inbox.
But stop freaking, guys. This isn't some twitter/FB competition. The codes aren't going anywhere and they're not going to run out. If anything, they're just going to make it so people with new accounts can't access the quiz/codes.
ToyMachine228 said:Listening to you guys talk about playing is so painful. If I don't get lucky and get a beta code I'm going to head to the gym and mall later and pick up Halo: Uprising. I've been meaning to pick it up forever but now seems like the perfect time in anticipating of Reach. But on the other hand I really hope I get lucky and get a code either from someone here on GAF or get lucky with Facebook or Twitter.
That's great news. God damn, this is going to be a looong weekend, and not in a good way at all. :lolShake Appeal said:Bumper Jumper works just fine, for those who might be concerned. Jetpacking isn't quite as easy as it might be, but Sprint is a toggle, and it's perfect for Armour Lock.
I will say that the default jump feels a little less useful (and obviously less floaty than it used to), but it's still nice to have. The Elite Evade, on the other hand, is really, really good. Just had Covy Slayer, and everyone dancing about with Needle Rifles (one of the starting loadouts!) is superb.BladedExpert said:Whew! Thanks dude. I've been waiting for Bumper Jumper news allll day! Can't wait to test it out for myself.
Yeah I remember that, but Brian was just doing some guesswork, a lot could've changed since back then, and I dont' see them creating two types of codes for this. Seeing all the random ass sites sending the codes to their contest winners, and microsoft not doing it, is frustrating.GhaleonEB said:IIRC, the Halo 2 codes won't be F&F codes.
Where do I go to redeem this code and download? I haven't fired up the box in a while
Genesis Knight said:Hit your Xbox Guide button, go to the far left tab, hit 'redeem code".
