That's not Isolation. Definitely not. That looks like the testing arena Bungie uses for tons of stuff. It's been seen in the H3 vidocs. There was one part of an H3 ViDoc where they showed a Brute in the same looking arena.

edit: I checked and I guess it's not the same place, but it looks like it. The picture with the engineer just has those extra walls. *shrug*

Is this what you saw? Looks like it's in the 'Isolation' map from Halo 3.

Yeah sorry, I just don't see Isolation there. You can see tentacles, and a big bulbous sack. As well as blue and pink-ish looking colors like Engineers in ODST. Also I'm pretty sure Isolation was one of the most unpopular maps from Halo 3 so I doubt we'll see in back in Reach. As someone else mentioned, they could just be for Firefight, or they could be back altogether for Campaign who knows.

So I'm not fairly confident Brutes and Engineers are in Reach. Skirmishers are a new addition. We have yet to see Drones to my knowledge though. So we'll have to kee our eyes peeled. I kind of hope Drones get a re-tool is they're back as well. They were pretty dangerous in ODST, but I still don't know if they're fun to fight.

Was listening to Rooster Teeth's Drunk Tank podcast; one of their guys was at X10 and saw Reach. Some quotes:
"The character models look stupid awesome. So badass."
"All the different armors have equipment attached to them. Sort of like what we did in Red vs Blue. For example, a guy sprinting, you could hit a bumper and a meter would run down..."
Can't tell if saying the armors had equipment just meant that the armor power-ups exist, or if each power-up comes with a certain armor perm. I hope the first one.
And armor abilities are mapped to bumpers, huh.

im pretty sure hes talking about the sprint item being an equipable piece to your armor that is visually seen on your character.... so if your playing multiplayer you can tell what equipment players are using.

I think it'd be perfect if armor abilities were determined by what armor permutation you had. It's been a concern of mine about how they were going to display the armor permutation on enemy/allies so shit didn't seem so random. It only makes sense to have the sprint ability lock you into using a unique gauntlet/boot permutation that makes it obvious to other players.

I really hope they keep BJ's shoulder button configuration. Haven't seen all the armor permutations yet but the ones revealed so far aren't going to benefit much from me not having to stop aiming to use a face button.

Okay, this interpretation is better. I'm fine with there being some sort of visual representation of each ability on a person. In fact, I'm all for it. I was just worried I could be locked in to using Hayabusa if I want to stay off radar, or something like that.
I hope BJ is still there too.
