Haha. I just found it amusing that I was all "OH CRAP! OH CRAP!" And then here you are at the end of the game with only 4 kills to my 20. :lol

Looks like it. It appears that the sticky the elite throws is enough to take down the drivers shield (he may have already taken other damage prior), and then the elite finishes the tank off with a lunge. This is a lot like Halo2 and I guess 3, where the vehicle explodes whenever the health of the driver is gone.

The guy in the tank never got off a direct hit on the elite, and only hit the ground around the elite. When Bungie said that Elites are more durable they meant it ;)

Either the tank player behind the elite sucked or the elite is now fast enough to dodge tank fire and then powerful enough to beat the crap out of another tanks with a sword. If the pulled back the vehicles in this game it will be so good.

Nope. When you lock, you're in 3rd person and you can spin the cam around to scope out your surroundings.

No it goes live May 3, ODST owners gain access through their disc. It will likely last 3 weeks or so. Not too much longer or shorter.

Nope. Beta starts May 3rd. However, no one knows how long it will be, and yes, anyone with ODST can join in.

Both.

The in-game effect pulls back/third persons and you can twirl/see 360 degrees.

The movie was done in theater and most likely for dramatic effect.

You can rotate the camera while armor locking. That said, Sketch was probably right too, in that they rotated around the player in theater mode for dramatic effect. :lol

That'd be nice. I wonder what, if any, improvements will be made with rendering films and such for Reach. I'm guessing we won't hear much about that until closer to launch where things are finalized though.

Hopefully they have squished the "no reticule" glitch. And maybe, just maybe, we'll be able to cut clips from and rewind a campaign film. A man can dream, right?

I think Urk was teasing about Bungie Pro render minutes being able to be used for the Beta, he didn't flat out confirm or deny. I think we'll find out next week when they reveal the Beta Bnet features as part of the media explosion.

I see me being humiliated in two of your clips. :lol Although that Hog action was ninja luck or something. =P

Also, Wu, apologies for not getting your first message. I flick between the 360 and my PC inputs on the same screen and missed it first time round. Was nice to have you join us!

Fun games tonight folks. A nice way to relieve some Beta excitement. Not long left.

In all seriousness I haven't been that much of a sheep lately, I was for the first 2 years I posted on here only because I posted in the official Oblivion thread about how I wasn't that blown away by the game and then got flamed for like two pages...I was like ok maybe I should sit back and pay attention what not to do in GAF.

I have learned somewhat and now post more often. I am glad I post more but still most people don't read or pay attention to my post...I don't blame them I tend to be long winded...this post for example, it just doesn't know when to end. :D

Edit: Also anyone on H3 right now that wants to party up?
