I hail from IGN, where I've made a few hundred avatars, and there used to be competitions, with 50-some categories one could enter avatars in. One would receive medals for getting the gold, silver, bronze, etc in any given category. People made tutorials about how to make them, how to eliminate backgrounds, how to use effects, color modifications, how to use spacing, etc... Competition was infused into my blood there :lol
But I didn't remake any of the ones you made. I just thought it was funny that when someone asked Letters to make their icon, you tried to steal his thunder. Kind of ironic you're blaming me :lol

From what I've heard, there was a one week embargo put on the media for their visit, so Wednesday/Thursday sounds right, I think.
Can't believe it's only 2 weeks. Insane. Two more BWU's to bring everyone up to full speed. Yep, tons incoming.
Just to think, after the Beta ends, about four weeks after that is E3 and what will be Reach's big feature/Campaign blowout. Too awesome.
Invasion sounds like a nice diversionary departure from regular Halo, almost like a second game (like Firefight levels of differentiation). I would love to know if it's possible that they can (or we, the players, can in future Customs when it's released) use the Invasion spawning system in other game modes. I'm surprised Generator Defence doesn't use that spawn system. Hopefully we can be allowed to fire some questions off to Urk for answering.

The past few months have been rough, you can only read so many updates featuring cryptic hints and vague descriptions. Then suddenly it starts trickling out, getting faster and faster and coming in at a steadily increasing volume.

I really am going to miss the Bubble most out of anything in Halo 3 - I hope we still see it in some form somewhere somehow (armour lock doesnt count).

In all seriousness I haven't been that much of a sheep lately, I was for the first 2 years I posted on here only because I posted in the official Oblivion thread about how I wasn't that blown away by the game and then got flamed for like two pages...I was like ok maybe I should sit back and pay attention what not to do in GAF.
I have learned somewhat and now post more often. I am glad I post more but still most people don't read or pay attention to my post...I don't blame them I tend to be long winded...this post for example, it just doesn't know when to end.
Edit: Also anyone on H3 right now that wants to party up?

I can see the player movement throwing me at first in the beta. After rewatching the invasion stuff, it seems at least from a 3rd person perspective, that you can change direction a lot quicker than in Halo 3.
