The whole "animal+ball" idea is getting stale at this point (not that it has been done to death or anything)...
Though, that's about the only similarity between this and Super Monkey Ball (I doubt you actually tilt the entire house). It's as if they have combined SMB with Toy Commander.

Hamsterball by Raptisoft is actually pretty fun. I'm partial to the little creatures myself (I blame the girlfriend) so my opinion might be slightly skewed but it plays out like a whimsical Marble Madness more so than Super Monkey Ball. It's certainly not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. It's a perfect game for children I believe but I wouldn't know how difficult it gets later on.Unison said:

Re: Super Monkey Ball; I rented Metroid Prime today (late ohnoes) and realised how awesome it would've been for Samus in her Morph Ball to be an unlockable character in SMB.

They're great for beginning owners but nothing beats a nice aquarium (with nontoxic glue of course). It's cheaper and easier to clean, not to mention it eliminates the problem of having a stuck hamster in a tube. Yes they're cute creatures but they're ridiculously stupid.
