Genuinely Generous
"In February 2016, Ja Rule announced on his twitter account that the title of his upcoming eighth studio album will no longer be called Genius Loves Company and that the title has been changed to Coup De Grâce. He had also announced that it will be his last album."

Year of da Ja.

Honestly I might buy this ironically, hopefully in CD form. So I can pull it out of my CD case and pop in some Ja Rule to entertain my passengers.

50 may have won the rap battle, but his mainstream music is terrible whereas Ja gave us great crossover hits. And since 50 isn't a great hardcore rapper anyway, then who really won?

IOW, give me classic party jams like Livin It Up or Always on Time over cloying repetitive crap like Candy Shop or Just A Little Bit any day. 50's raps there are as whack as anything he accused Ja of doing.

Edit: OK, I'll give you In The Club, that one was good. But all his follow ups were poor imitations.

The album should be called Coup De Ja.

I cannot stand this guy, but not for typical reasons.
Every time I would hear him, I had a sudden urge to clear my throat. He's phlegmtastic.
