I'm just hoping 2017 can maybe have something to mitigate the damage of 2016.

Oh, and F' you to 2016. Both for politics and for the many pets of people I know and mine own that died (it was not a good year for pets at least for me). I've been waiting for 2016 to be over to say that (i've learned not to curse out a time period when it still has time to bite you back harder).

At least it didn't manage to get my favorite cat.
