Went up to Quebec city to see my brother with some family. His place is small so we unfortunately didn't have the room to cook a traditional turkey dinner. Went to a great pub instead. Happy Thanksgiving my fellow countryfolk

Haha, no we fucking don't. Well, I guess if you work for the banks or post office, you do.

Most any federal employee, really. I call it errand day. Doing all that crap you've been putting off. Going to my physician for a check up, followed by dentist, followed by haircut, followed by chilling on the couch and having a beer in the middle of the afternoon.

It's been a pretty bummer Thanksgiving for me. My parents took off for my Uncle's cottage up north and I had to stay behind because I'm working nearly the entire weekend so no Turkey for me :/

I dread going into work tomorrow. Being a holiday means the movie theater I work at will be extra busy during the day. Even getting there and back home again will be worse then usual since the bus runs less on holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

we can't even afford a new Thanksgiving thread ;_;

lol, I remembered I did last year's thread and it had all the pertinent information in the OP :p

Maybe I'll bump this again next year ... We can start a Canadian Thanksgiving GAF tradition.

Oh... it's, uh, Thanksgiving?

I was going to waste time going to class tomorrow and then find out the hard way. Glad I saw this thread before that.

Happy Thanksgiving Gaf. Just had the dinner with the first half of the family today and tomorrow we get it with the other half... thankfully though I actually get tomorrow off instead of being forced to work half-way through dinner like today.

Yup my company does a lot of government contract work so we have pretty much every government holiday off as well so I have tomorrow off as well.

Happy Thanksgiving. I was very sick I couldn't go to my family's lunch/dinner event. But my wife brought lots of food back home for me. Yummy.

It's that time of the year again, time to break out the Canadian Thanksgiving thread :)

A long weekend to be grateful, with an amazing dinner on Monday as we celebrate the Canadian Thanksgiving.

This year I'm alone in Alberta, my entire family and spouse is a five hour flight away in Toronto. With that said I am very thankful for the amazing government job opportunity I landed back in January, one that has turned out to be life changing.

I'm planning on buying a Swansons Turkey TV dinner for Monday.

I remember as a kid we use to celebrate both thanksgivings, US and Canada one, because I have family right across the border in Ontario. Turkey in October then some more turkey a month 1/2 later in November. So much turkey.... but Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

a lot of my threads involve me fucking up somehow. Perhaps I'm a moron?
Turkey bacon, turkey sausage, pancakes and red wine. Beat that Thanksgiving breakfast, plebes

This is going to be my Thanksgiving dinner.

Not sure if we'll have room for turkey this year - too busy feasting on the Texas Rangers

I'm actually scared for tomorrow's game. The hype train is rolling at top speed right now and it's making me nervous.

Happy Thanksgiving, I guess....

I'm first gen, i don't understand this holiday but I will accept the day off.

Chicken is superior to turkey, that's a fact
