IMO, perfect recast. Can't think of another actor in that age range that could come in, fill in for William Hurt and make it work.

Why?

Harrison Ford is 8 years older than Hurt, what General dodders around like a geriatric? Unless this is a grand death role, it seems like a mistake to keep stunt casting these aged actors if the intent is to roll the role along for another decade or more.

Though I gotta admit, it would be dope if they somehow got Michael Douglas, Harrison Ford, Robert Redford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michelle Yeoh, and any others together for a grand scene of just old acters one upping each other.

I hate recastings and would prefer if Ross was never used again. They can call the team “Thunderbolts” as simply a tribute.

Recastings suck. Terrance Howard is the best Rhodey still and Ruffalo has played Banner as a cartoon character since Ragnarok. I wish Norton wasn’t such a pain in the ass to work with.
