I doubt the Ps2 version of AWL will ever make it English-side. Natsume has already noted that the game has some questionable content (marrying an underage girl) that would have to be changed if it was ever translated. I guess North America is too conservative to accept the ability to marry someone of that age.

I would bet on the newer GC version coming state-side than the Ps2 one, but that one hasn't been confirmed for English release and isn't even out in Japan yet.

At their x-mas party last year, Natsume actually mentioned that PS2 & PSP Harvest Moon localizations were in the works... that might've changed though, especially with the amazing success of AWL on GameCube. They might just skip the PS2 port and get right to Song of Happiness instead.

Neither version has even been released yet; the GBAGirl one has been pushed off until 2005 and the GCGirl version doesn't even have an English release date.

I can see them skipping the Ps2 port too. Most people I've talked to enjoyed AWL for a while, then became bored with it and never even reached the end of the game. At least the Girl version cuts 4 years out of the game.
