I really loved this game so much.

It was one of the first games I ever played, just a really fun shooter with tons of replay value.

I'm gonna get that Capcom Classics Collection just to play this all over again.

Fun arcade game, although too much of a cheap-ass one at times..total quarter muncher. I prefer the original mode featured in the Genny conversion.

I used to play it in the arcades. I remember the Genesis got kind of a crappy port. It also showed up on the Capcom Generation 4 compilation (kind of a moot point now with the Capcom Classics Collection coming).

me and my Dad used to play it a fair bit back on the Megadrive. He loved playing that, and Quackshot :lol

Wish the "original mode" from the Megadrive version could be added into a the arcade collection

I was Merc'n' it up a few minutes ago, and thought the same thing: I could really use a touchscreen against this giant helicopter.

I first played MERCS / Commando 2 at a Chicago-area arcade called 'Galaxy Game Center' on Rand Rd in Palatine IL. the game was a total blast.

I've got MERCS for the Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Playstation and arcade ROM for MAME.

I played a good amount of Mercs when it first came out in the arcade. I'm sure with its inclusion in Capcom Classics Collection, it will get some more playtime at home.

Everything about this game screamed Capcom. I loved it. I could single credit it back in the day. It wasn't that hard, just have to save up on Nukes when you really needed it.

MERCS would make a great next-gen Japanese FPS. In third person view we can watch as the MERCs take missles to the chest.

Oh man, this game was like one of my favorite arcade games back in the day... I've been waiting for a quality home port (since it doesn't display correctly on MAME) for aeons. Picking up Capcom Classics Collection just for this game.
