open_mouth_ said:13 going on 30 came out on DVD pretty damn fast as well. Do the math Darien.

Hell it was on DVD before it was in the Movies.
lordmrw said:I thought about 4 months was the average for a DVD release? I mean, obviously movies like the Passion of the Jesus(heh) and Return of the King are gonna take longer.
Soul Plane $13,922,211 $16,000,000
13 Going on 30 $56,044,241 $37,000,000
New York Minute $14,018,364 $30,000,000

Dawn of the Dead took a while.
I think "The Yards" was the fastest I have ever seen a movie go from theater to video. I think it was 2 months.

DarienA said:<Sigh> There is no math to do everyone knows that bad movies hit DVD quickly in an attempt to recoup costs.. I'm simply saying does anyone know one that hit faster?
13 Going On 30 hmm I just did the count and if I did it correctly it's got the same time period as Soul Plane 102 days from movie release to dvd release.
open_mouth_ said:I didn't mean that as an insult. I genuinely wanted to know, but was to lazy to look it up. Thanks for the leg work

on November 19, 2002 and then Miramax Home Entertainmenton January 13, 2004.
