Sure, they screw over customers. Sure, the rootkit fiasco is not the least of such examples. Sure, they want to eventually control all multimedia. But they've got mindshare like you wouldn't believe. They ARE electronics.

I have to reread that article, because I don't think he can be saying what I thought he is saying.

MacDailyNews Take: Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Shockingly, Enderle's making sense here about avoiding Sony products right now. Bankruptcy, however, is highly questionable.

Even that's taking it a little far, I think, and I most definitely agree with the bolded portion. Enderle's a doomsayer, and anyone who actually believes that Sony's facing impending bankruptcy right now is letting their fannish desires blind them to reality.

The title of this thread almost guarantees a lack of attention drawn to it. I knew it was inflammatory, and I wasn't sure if its conclusions were BS or old. Seeing as how GAF always gets everything first, I just thought I'd ask.

I do not hope Sony goes bankrupt, nor have I EVER said anything to that effect.
