Has Your View on the Switch 2 Changed?

No. Only games i'm interested right now is Mario Kart and DK. Even if Metroid comes out won't pay $450 to play three games. Not interested in playing third party on it.

Changed? No, pretty much what I put on paper it would be and then some, didn't expect RTGI so soon. Also a lot more efficient than I expected, I knew low clocks has less impact on foundry node densities, but I never expected it to be that efficient.

What it makes me realize is that I probably don't jump on PC handhelds till I see an Nvidia solution.

I also need Nintendo to fucking speed up the switch 2 patches for the Xenoblade series.

It's an exclusive machine for me along with NSO classics and some Switch 1 games. It appears to be good launch year for exclusives: MK World, DK Bonanza, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid 4. Also Mario Galaxy Remakes for both Switch systems.

It has solid performance for it's power draw, I like the big screen, and the pro controller is comfortable. Good experience so far!

It's a system for Nintendo games for me, and mostly docked only. (Because of the terrible form factor / grip).
I would never play games like Resident Evil 9 or Cronos on a Nintendo Switch 2.
