damned if i know what part is causing the problem. cracked the ps2 open and i still can't determine why the drive get's stuck.
regardless, instead of buying spare parts at random (tray motors or whatnot) and since i'm not about to replace a perfectly working laser (blue backs and all), i'm wondering what's a good/cheap site for fliptops? more specifically on the v4 ps2.
the sad part is, since my gf (soon to be ex) is more or less kicking me out of the house in june, i dont even get to keep the damn thing. but for her to accuse me of breaking it when i treat game consoles like fine china?
