Almost exactly 1 year ago today I was in a bar real early in the morning and fell asleep due to a bit much booze and the early hour, which apparently made the owner/manager of the bar rather upset, so upset that him and one of the bouncers decided to drag me into the alleyway outside his bar and beat me unconscious (all because I gave him the finger when he shook me awake, he wasn't dressed like a bouncer, I thought he was just some fat asshole).

I posted about this on the old board when it happened and planned to bump it if any result ever came anyway I got a concussion and a few days off work for my troubles, laid a complaint with the cops who told me he would probably get away with it easily due to me being drunk.

Anyhow, reading the paper the other day, the guy lost his job due to the licensing place refusing to renew the bars license unless the Manager was sacked! apparently due to "2 seperate assault charges" SCORE!

I still may have to go to court if he pleaded not guilty. Heh, it's actually better that it took this long to sort out, he probably thought he got off.

I celebrated this news by going to the bar he used to run and buying my friends a shit load of drinks.

Heh, oh man. You have no idea, the best bit was, I was so freakin drunk that I literally didn't know what was happening. I wake up, this really big guy is saying "THATS IT YOU CUNTS, YOU GUYS ARE FUCKED" Then this other dude comes over and hes much much bigger than me too and I get dragged out the back door, not even walking and the next thing I see is an enormous gorrilla fist flying right at my nose. My thoughts of the whole incident were pretty much

"WOW, that really really hurts! I can't believe how much my face hurts!" The rest of the beating felt kind of fuzzy and warm due to minor brain injuries, but the first punch was like when you wake up on a freezing cold morning and stub your bare toe on a door frame, except right on my face.

That is correct sir! We had been drinking a lot and it was 7am and they have these very comfy couches. It's a lounge bar type thing where all the druggies go to relax and comedown.

Speaking of which, the owner was clearly wired on methamphetimines, nobody sane can conjur that much rage from getting the middle finger at 7am on a sunday morning.
