Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2 in the works at Netflix -- written by Quentin Tarantino, directed by David Fincher

Why not Kill bill 3 ?

Buddy I have some bad news for you.. Bill is dead. Just dead. Deader than dead.

He was killed in Kill Bill 2, man. Like straight up a bad case of the deadus. He's so dead he's probably reincarnated at this point. Just absolutely dead.

You know how the movie is called Kill Bill? Well you're not gonna believe this but at the end of the second movie she kills Bill.

I am not fucking with you, he is 100% dead.

Because QT considers Kill Bill a done deal. And it is.
Yeh he had left a hanging plot thread that he said could be used for a third one if he ever wanted to. So I think that's always caught some people's interest. But in the years since then he's never really shown much interest in picking that back up. Which is fair enough, it seems like he has other ideas he's more interested in.

He's only going to make 1 more movie. But first he's directing a play and if succesful he'll make it into a movie. That's his official plan.

He's also open to do TV work.

He recently said he almost has no more fire in him to keep doing it. He's done.

I don't quite see the point in this, unless they base it around another Hollywood scandal/tragedy.

but the timelines wouldn't really add up if they keeping Pitt.

I dunno i guess we'll see what it ends up being

I think Tarantino maybe wanted to do something with his The Critic script since he liked the idea but he's focused on something else for his next film so can't do it himself. So then tying it into OUTIH makes it an easier sell to someone like Netflix since these days its harder to draw interest to films that aren't sequels or part of a franchise.

I guess you could use Cliff as a sort of this Forrest Gump character who over the years happens to be around different moments in film history.
