I do believe the answer is yes. (etc. etc.)

I don't see how requiring you to hold down a button (on a completely unrelated device, mind you) and clicking makes things LESS complicated than instead having a second button.

haha @ "etc,etc," :D

It doesn't - my point was that single button mice are simpler for those that don't even use the 2nd mouse - those that still got over to the file bar to select cut/paste. These people, who never operate beyond the first mouse button. For them, extra buttons can be confusing. I mean, click, double click on one mouse button can be confusing for some, let alone 3buttons, and a wheel. Like I said, some of the programs we use use all three buttons, plus combinations of keys, and combinations of mouse buttons. trying to explain all the functions can be a nightmare for some. Given, it's a highly specialised program that couldn't be efficiently operated with a single mouse button (I prefer dial boxes and keyboard aswell as a three button mouse), but something liek an operating system and file selecting can be done with one button (again, not saying it's more efficient that way, but it can be a much better introduction to operating a computer with one button).

Ctrl-x/c/v it can actually be quicker for cutting and pasting (I use it for when I want to copy paste the same thing several times over).

I call those people Mac users. :)

I really never understood the HIGH DEMAND for an Apple 2-button. OSX has 2-button functions programed into the OS... if someone NEEDED 2-buttons they could have easily just bought one... seriously.

In any case... just something else Apple will make money on. Why WOULDN'T an Apple user pick one up over a MS one (or other third party). Smart move fiscally... but... it's not gonna propel Apple into a higher tax bracket.

I've got my BT one button... I'm fine. Cntl+Click is easy... especially when using the trackpad.

The whole mouse button actually works surprisingly well.

unless, in the course of moving it around, the cord gets pushed under the front of the mouse, in which case you can't click at all !

I HATE the monster I'M TOTALLY A BUTTON mouse :p
