Doesn't that only apply if you're asking people to give you private information? If it's details someone makes freely available on a Public profile, then there's not much that can be done.

I have to say, I know exactly what kids like this are like in person. They don't just say this stuff on the internet. I really have no sympathy for them being publicly shamed, and I hope it keeps happening. Freedom of speech or not, making comments about wanting to hang someone, even on the internet deserves this 100%.

I've lived in Indiana most of my life and have heard that term used when talking about black people as I grew up, and even I am confused as to what it's supposed to mean.
I know it's meant to be a racial slur but I don't understand how.

I used to think it was funny to say outrageous, racist things when I was younger. I just did it for the shock value, though. I had slowly been thinking such jokes weren't funny anymore as I grew older, but it was Xbox Live that really, truly put an end to my thinking those kind of jokes were funny.

Except that you do. Racism is a result of having experiences or preconceptions about certain groups of individuals, and once you invest more energy/time into that matter and get to learn them, you might or might not change your view about them. Racism is not a mental illness that should be punished with jail or worse, or even social discrimination.
