Im on the hunt for a widescreen monitor for my PC. Im not really sure where to start so Im looking for some suggestions.
I think something in the 22 range will more than suffice, with a native resolution of 1650x1080. Theres not much point going higher. I have a 1080p 40 display in my lounge room, and my PC really isnt good enough to consistently render modern games at 1920x1080. Id prefer the lower resolution for that extra oomph in power.
I had originally purchased a ViewSonic that fit the above specs (dont remember the model name), and I ended up getting to copies (original and replacement) that were both messed up. Id like to try a different brand this time.
Price range is in AU$, and Id rather not spend over AU$400.
Any suggestions?
