After recently ripping all my CDs, I've got a ton of music on my PC and I was hoping there would be an easy way to make a list of all my albums without manually typing the whole list out myself.

I've got 1 main folder that houses sub-folders for each artist and then more sub-folders for each album.

So basically: C:\Music\Artist\Album\*.mp3

Can anyone suggest an easy tool that will generate a .txt list with each artist's folder and then the album's sub-folder? I'd just like to be able to make a list that I can post on certain forums displaying my music collection.

I use MPEG Audio Collection. It's free and does the job.

in dos:
dir /b>files.txt

thanks Ferrio, for posting this months ago! It's helped me make listings of my mp3s easily, as well as helping with a program I made to compress xmv files!

I gave that program a try Red and it worked perfectly.
I figured there would have been a way to do it through DOS, but I wasn't sure.
