Ok, so I got an import copy of DonPachi for PlayStation off eBay. The game was new and unopened, and the seller seems reputable based off his rating. So I start playing the game, and none of the music is playing. It doesn't play during gameplay, nor does it play on the sound test. You can tell that the system is trying to read the disc, as I can hear a clicking sound while it's trying to load the music. The disc isn't scratched or anything. I don't think it's the PlayStation either because it hasn't had any trouble reading the music on any other games, domestic or import. So what's the dealio here? Is it something with the game that is just doesn't work well on an American system (I'm using a PS-Xchange to play imports)? Or should I boil the disc (I remember people did that with DC demo discs way back when) or something? Someone help me here. This is pretty annoying.
