Ok, today I received in the mail a brand new copy of Silent Hill 3 that I bought off ebay. The game was sealed and everything but I when took it out and poped it into my ps2, the game will boot up until the screen with the Silent Hill 3 logo on the bottom right corner. The game will not get pass this screen.
I took the game out to examine it and I find that there is a small circular dent or a shallow hole about maybe 1 millimeter in diameter. I think this might be the culprit. The game was new and sealed so I think that it may be a defect in the manufacturing process. I have not contacted the seller yet because I want to know if there might be an easy way to fix it. Also, I do not think that my ps2 is the problem because I have not had a problem with any other of my games. Although, I have an early ps2, the ones that were bundled with GT3.
So, any suggestions? Should I try to fill up the dent will something? If so, what?
