Help with gothic

Anyone now how to tell how much money you have on you? I have gone through every key on my board trying to find out how much money I have. I know it's over 100 as I had just sold a lot of herbs to Frisk. I wanted to see if I had more but coundn't find anything labled money or ore. I do have like 5 ore pieces in Misc in my inventory but I don't think that's my money. Any help would be nice. Thank you.

i thought this was going to be a thread about girl advice for dating gothic chicks and that the OP had just posted it in the wrong forum.

Your money is your ore fragments. If you just put those herbs up for trade to the guy without choosing the appropriate amount of ore in return (even exchange and all), then you basically gave him the herbs for free. I just played and beat Gothic for the first time recently, and I had the same problem. :) Always make sure the exchange is even before you hit enter.

Yes. This is correct. Just open up the inventory and check how much ore you have.

But it's weird that the thread starter even asked this. Has he not paid any attention to the story or talked with anyone reading their responses etc.? :)

I knew ore was money, but like I said I should have had over 100 ore after the trade and all I had was 5 so I thought there were two types of ore. One for mining and one as cash.

Thanks for clearing that up. Good thing I created another save when I couldn't find my money.
