And hold it, he did. From his anti-Bush rant and "vote this time" speech to his tales of the USO tours he's done...Kept the crowd rolling.
But then...He told the crowd all about Johnny Ramone. At other parts ,there were lulls. I looked at my watch. But when he talked about Johnny...hanging out with him, after hearing he was dead, all that...Powerful stuff.
Somehow he segued from that to other things, and the crowd didn't miss a beat. Great crowd, great performance...Great stories all abound. Damn, I'm glad I went.
