Yeah I played a few matches with Lucio and I'm finding him a ton of fun to play. I might just buy him.

It's true. Especially with all the Genjis and Uthers running around at the moment, rolling up in quick match with the "infinite sustain" core of Auriel, Gul'dan, and Zarya can lead to some absolutely disgusting blowouts.
Alright I bought Genji because fuck it and 12 additional loot boxes (for science). Maybe I just got unlucky with my free loot boxes but the stuff out of the 12 I bought was generally pretty good. Legendary drop rate seems decent and definitely better than Overwatch (at least from my experience). Three legenaries in the 12 boxes (Soulbreaker Thrall, Buccaneer Falstad and Zarya dupe) and usually one epic without rerolling too much.

Got Lvl 774 and immediately bought a bunch of extra loot boxes, because fuck everything. The best stuff I got was Sulfuron Uther and Murky announcer, I also had enought shards left to buy Infiltrator Dehaka, Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan, the new Leoric skins and a bunch of 100 shard recolors. Legendary droprate is decent, except it seems half of the legendary items are mounts.
No, there are about 20 announcers, most of them warcraft heroes.

played yesterday in my first unranked match with a streamer. was fun. played Lucio. should stop playing him like i do in OW haha. but it was fun. don't fully understand the mechanics but i think i get it.

Is there some weird logic to what skins you can buy with gemmies and what skins you cannot?
Fuck man i made a huge mistake, i spent the 100 gems we got for the mega bundles on lootboxes since i didn't know it would tell me later i need the gems for the bundle....
Now my question is can you earn gems in-game? and if yes how long does it take to get 100 gems?

You do earn gems in game, and you get 1000 gems very early on. It might even be account level 10.
Oh, that's a little disappointing. Guess they'll react to whatever fans request maybe.

Another new player here.
I decided to try Tracer due to the fact I got her with the Overwatch collectors edition, and the game actually seems pretty fun. I've never really played a MOBA before outside of trying Paragon for an afternoon a few weeks back, so I'm kinda at a loss as to how I make good plays etc.
I'm a bit confused when it comes to attacking though. Do I need to click on an enemy to shoot them, or do I just need to get to shooting distance and hover my cursor over their general direction? Also, one of Tracer's upgrades mentioned something along the lines of doing a GoW style active reload for a buff or something. When is the correct time to manually reload as her?
Finally, do different lanes require different classes, like supports should always take the to lane etc., or is it a case of each lane is the same, but splitting your team up sensibly to cover each?
I'm definitely enjoying it though, and I'll probably continue playing outside of this OW event.

Hrm. The only skin I want is red mecha Tassadar but only the blue one is featured. I can settle I guess. I'm not entirely sure what gems can get me, didn't have time to really look.
Loot boxes got me a bunch of random stuff and Azmodunk. I don't know if I even have Azmodan, but I will get him just to use that, lol. Still have lots of gold left.

Well im already level 27, so how long do you think will it take me to get 100 gems?
Only featured items can be bought with gems (i.e.: the newest stuff and whatever couple older heroes/skins/mounts they put on sale for the week). Heroes can as well. Everything else is loot box only til it becomes on sale.
So basically if you want a new item you should get it when it releases unless you wanna fish for it in boxes.
I'm not new I just took a months-long break! Lucio is incredibly fun by the way, sad I wasn't playing when he came out.
Oh I opened Nightmare Prime Evil Diablo as well.
I jus got lvl 300 and I got 150 gems so you might be right

Rehgar, Monk, Tyrande, Lili all do good damage. And now apparently Uther's Q build is pretty insane too.
What's the best way to use gold to buy heroes if I want a (mostly) complete collection that way? It seems new heroes start at 15k, then drop to 10k later. What about additional drops from 10k or 7k or 4k?
I got the tank mega bundle and bought up all the 2k gold heroes and I'm wondering how to optimize bang for my buck.

I just love roaming and ganking people. Who should I be looking at? You know I tend to orient toward edgelords.
Opened like 36 epic chests, 3 veteran, 5 loot.
Only Notable pulls were:

- Monkey King Samuro
- Diablo Announcer
Got the Assassin's bundle, gave me 7 heroes I didn't own yet.
My favorite skins have been cheaper ones, like Vyrkul Leoric or Bone Sylvannas.

I got Chromie, 2 legendary mounts, and a hilarious Murky announcer from my 3 Veteran packs. Not too shabby. A bunch of great skins as well.

Kerrigan, Genji, Zeratul, Valeera, The Butcher, Greymane, and Dehaka are good places to start if you wanna gank in the early game.
Varian and a few others are good post 10. Diablo is good in the laning phase too but I assume you wanted assassins not tanks.

Pretty sure you get a loot box every time you level a hero, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
