I haven't seen anything.

Maybe that's where they'll announce their next big update, though. Like scoobs said, been kinda quiet and we know there is new progression and so forth in the works.
 
Just read that the PAX East schedule will be released by the end of this week, so looks like we'll hear soon. Definitely a good venue to announce some big stuff.

Hah, I doubt it's projecting. You know that team environment has to be toxic af knowing those dudes pasts. There's pretty much no way the Buechters are all like "It's on me boyz, good job good effort we'll get em next time don't you worry m8's".

That team and B Step are mysteries to me. At least B Step finally won a match or two. I haven't seen Mc on streaming in a few days, I do wonder how much they practice. I seem to remember it being a concern of his with a prior team (not scrimming enough, etc).

I dont doubt there is some blaming going on, but i was thinking more about how kenma is like twice his age and whether there is some "im dissapointed in you son" shit going on

They have to finish writing up the post about how the murky rework is in fact not ready to be shipped in it's current state

I'm afraid it'll be going live as is. They did say that PTR is reserved for bug fixes because there are so few games played. The amount of data they'll be able to get after it will go live should help them tweak the numbers a little bit.

Looks like no orange changes to Murky. RIP those who play other heroes in QM.

EDIT: Lucio got changed a bit from PTR. Longer cooldown on Sound Barrier, shorter on the other. Higher auto damage.

Welp like I thought. Looks like it's time to dust up my murky egg then. Like those changes to Lucio. Sound barrier looked much better on paper than Reverse Amp.

You play Marky and I'll play Lucio. Feel like I'll regret playing Lucio otherwise unless I know for sure we'll have a Murky.

They did change some numbers on murky thought. A fishy deal (bribe), Slime time (not scaled now) and Time to krill (poison & slow) all got toned down. Rexxar and Tassadar got some tweaks too. Minions leash range got reduced too.

I didn't see those changes in the notes. In orange? Or did they not highlight them? The version I saw was all white.

Lucio is pretty fun, both ults seem good too. I also had zero idea how to build him but it didn't seem to matter much since my team had Lucio, Uther and Medivh.

I regret not buying the grunt murky skin when it was in special. Would have been so fun to have right now.

Edit: Aww man Mecha Dehaka was reduced in December too? I should watch those sales a little more closely.

I just went as Murky against a Murky with basically mirror comps (they had Diablo, we had Varian was the only difference). He built more traditional old school Murky and went Egg Hunt, I went the Bribe talent and then like all of the Slime talents.

Not a fair fight for him. The fact that I had my Master skin on and he was wearing the base skin just drove it home even harder.

Oh just saw it was nerfed a bit (plus has a higher max stack count?)

But yeh pls remove bribe from the character that basically loses nothing going to your side of the map and stealing mercs

Going slime now makes it hard af to do camps til late game without the bribe though. You just can't survive on em like you used to.

On the flip side, you are amazing in team fights now. I love shitting on Varian's. Go ahead and charge me breh.

I actually dunno what made murky strong when i was playing ptr, just that it felt insanely oppressive, so all these nerfs are gibberish to me

Well he kind of snowballs now, basically.

The slime talents allow you to: slow the target, slime more often, auto attack to add more slows, and then the more you slime them the stronger your slime gets (125 more damage, then 35% more slow). Combine all that with Fish Tank giving you 75 bonus armor when you auto attack a hero and shit is pretty ridiculous.

Once you have Fish Tank you are way harder to kill, and you kill so much faster now it just...well, I haven't faced it on live (only played it), but I can imagine it's mega annoying and depressing.
 
I am really curious to see this new Murky on action reading what you are all posting.

Also very excited for Lucio, even though I'll have to fight for him. I played support most games before it was cool again.

This alone might make me pick up murky again... last week I decided to try and learn Sonya. So I have plenty of pent up rage against varian

If it's tank Varian he just can't hang with you. You just chip away and he can't get away. Same with the Smash variant I'd imagine. The Twin Blades might be able to do something even through that 75 armor talent at 13 (plus he heals himself), but you never really see that spec anymore in QM at least.

Zul'jin is pretty good against Murky early game because of his Q, but once you hit 13 (or if he's targeting someone else in a team fight pre-13) he's fodder too.

EDIT: I loaded into one QM and the guy was like "I hate new hero releases, people always fuck up the queues playing them on both teams. Also why is everyone playing Murky?"

Like I told one of those QM teams I was with, though. I've been waiting a long time for Murky to be good again. Granted he's too good, probably, and it's gonna be short lived...but damn does it feel good to rule the seas again.

If murky gets into melee range of a hero, he's going to kill that hero. That's true for about 90% of the games roster currently. You are repeatedly slowed, and chomped down by his autos and the slime, and if it gets too hairy for him he can just bubble out. Once he gets fishtank he's tankier than half the heroes in the game...

Chromie and Hammer at the pro level and Murky in the normal game. This is the worse timeline.

Alright brehs, what's the go-to rework Murky build? I want something to go off of when I get home tonight.

Egg Hunt or A Fishy Deal (A Fishy Deal prob better unless you face a bunch of stealth)
Slime Time
Time To Krill
March of the Murlocs
Fish Tank
Toxic Buildup
Making Inky or Big Tuna Kahuna

There's also a more tank oriented build if you want to do that, but you should be plenty tanky enough with Fish Tank against most QM comps.

I tried Medivh in vs AI today. The portals memes are real, no one knows what they do.
Varian stuck behind a wall with a portal next to him keeps hitting the gate until he dies.
Valla decides to go 1v3, I put a portal next to her because she's gonna need it, but nope, she turns around and dies while escaping.
 
For Azeroth event was farmed in little over two hours. It's super easy to complete right now, you can just hop in general chat and find tons of people looking to group and zerg rush bot macthes to complete it. The WoW mount is pretty badass.

As a solo-queue Medivh, only use portals for yourself. If anyone else actually uses them, it's a bonus but use portals primarily for your own mobility. Trying to make plays happen in uncoordinated games and save people who won't use them isn't worth putting the ability on CD.

I've got to agree with this even as someone who doesn't play Medivh. You never really expect the portal to be there when you need it but if my buddy is playing him and lets me know he's putting one down then I'll use it. If shit goes bad you're just focusing on running away, not finding a portal.
