Here is a logo for a mobile company and I'm curious what people think of the logo. Don't mind the thin red lines going across it - this art is just a proof. I'm curious what people think of this logo. Any comments and criticisms are welcome.

I like the style, but what's the purpose of the mountain? Do they specialize in wireless equipment for people who hike/generally spend a lot of time outdoors and need specific equipment?

I really like the logo if it's for, say, a mobile technology company in the Rocky Mountains or the intermountain West. Don't know it if makes much sense outside that context, really-unless it was for a hiker/outdoors targeted company, in which it is nice but they guy looks like an old man climbing a mountain trial (hand on back, cane).

Nice style. But I'm a tad confused about what it's trying to represent.

Do you think you could remove the black filling between the stick and the arm, and between the legs? I think just going with a black outline around the orange, like the rest of the image, would clean it up a bit. Those black spaces aren't super annoying - but there's just sort of sitting there doing nothing, IMO.

i like it. and i think it represents peak reception, or reception everywhere. not just for the hikers and outdoorspeople...

Definitely get rid of the blue fill-ins; that'll help the logo print in monotone (i.e. for faxes, newspaper).

Three other things throw me off.

1) The design of the mountain versus the design of the guy + stick; straight and cornered versus curves and swooshes. While this could be a chosen design dichotomy, it doesn't work for this logo.

2) The guy's waist looks odd because the orange stroke is not the same weight as everywhere else.

3) The guy looks to be holding his strained back. Aside from conquering the mountain symbolism, I don't see how this could reflect positively for the company.

To me the bold orange and black lines look more like a logo for a sports team than a mobile company. I'd say unless you're going for a more rough and outdoorsy crowd I'd try for something sleeker and simpler. However if you're going for the outdoorsy peeps then this is really quite good.

Myabe make the liens thinner, and definitely elimnate the blue outline on everything, just leave that white. Maybe change the orange to the blue you used for the outline.
