Just please god make a more interesting game than Death Stranding. I know some people loved that game, but that wasn't it at all. I understand games are an artform, and as such come in all shapes, sizes and styles, and in that sense I guess Death Stranding was as deserving as any other form of art out there, but I reserve the right to also wish it were a whole lot more fun to play and experience. I've had fun with all his games till Death Stranding.

I'd usually agree, but Kojima always puts out quality work regardless of if it clicks with me or not. He's worth supporting IMO. Same with Fromsoft. Neither let me down most of the time. Worst case scenario, I'm not a super fan of the game, and I sell it after finishing having only lost 15 dollars (like I did with Death Stranding). Not a big deal.

There aren't many creators in or near the mainstream/AAA space that can get away with truly creative/original/different (however you want to phrase it) expression. Whether you like his games or not, I think we should be glad that he exists and can keep that potential open. If unusual visions gain mainstream acceptance, it always opens the door to the possibility of more "out-there" ideas, and that's good for gaming and creativity in general imho.
