they probably thought the guy doing the martial arts crap was just some poser.

I mean, in high school this really dorky guy who allways wore Pokemon crap (not saying Im not a dork, but I hide it better) would allways claimed to be a black belt in something.. and threatened to kill people with it when they made fun of him.. he finnaly got in a fight one day and got strait jacked by this big dude. He didnt know what the fuck he was doing.

Although, to be fair, you could tell the guy in the video knew what he was doing when he took his first stance.

He was able to regain his footing after each throw in order to throw another powerful one. He also did a good job of dodging and regaining the right footing.
He would have been an easy take down for a bigger guy than Frankie, however.

I thought he was deflecting punches actually. In any case, as someone who knows little/nothing about martial arts... and saying this purely as a boxing fan, frankie is a terrible fighter. He was more concerned with trying to look cool and left his ass wide open for a shot to temple, which is what he got. Im pretty sure my uncoordinated slow white ass could have taken him out.

Just watched the fight (all five seconds of it) several times. The White Guy dodged four swings in a row, deflecting a couple of them, then clocked Frankie when he was exposed. Obviously a real fight is not the big dance that movies make it out to be, but he clearly knew exactly what he was doing.

And landing on the asphalt that hard had to hurt.

with the shot to the head he took, I wouldnt be surprised if that was a one hit KO. He got hit on the exact place you dont want to be hit. I mean, it looked like a strait hit to the temple, and it sounded hard as fuck.

The stance he takes does look ridiculous at first, out of the blue. I understand the laughter. But it's the taunting that must have sparked an "Oh, shit" thought from Frankie. He kept backing away after provoking the stance guy like a maniac :lol Pretty neat.

I like how "Frankie" completely changed when the guy started doing the silly stances/moves. He tried to laugh it off, but you could tell he was scared. Too proud to take off, though.

And the guy was just a smart fighter. He kept his arms high to deflect/shield and be ready for a quick swing.

The beautiful game :) They make it look so fucking easy too..... nevermind doing any of that in a game, under pressure, but even in a scrimmage or by yourself... so much talent required

I know some people that try and imitate that Ronaldinho move.... and just embarrass themselves. Even when it kinda works. There's a reason why it's been done so rarely...

My team won the Division Cup this year. We were down 1-0 for most of the game until I stepped up (finally. it was my first year back after ~4 years off and i didn't contribute much at all during the season) and set up the tying goal - we then won in PKs. Anyway, we recorded the game and then made DVD copies of an edited video (highlights, 'interviews' afterwards, etc). I'm proud of my special moment in time and would like to get it on the comp. but the video file is in DVD format... .VOB and some others. I should find out how to cut parts out and convert them to mpeg/avi

I cut the clip i posted using Nero Vision Express, only took me a few minutes.

And the clip is from a yearly tournament in Las Vegas. There are at least 100 teams from across the country, and most of the girls are college players. It's funny how quickly soccer can reveal just how out of shape you are.

Also, I'd venture a guess that Neo broke his wrist clocking Frankie. It appeared that the knockout blow struck below his fist (he's probably used to throwing at guys in a similar stance to him during sparring, which would mean he'd be at full extension) on his lower palm or wrist area. He's probably got some fractured carpal bones from the impact.
