So I noticed a funny little detail in MP2 last night while finishing up hard mode (Which btw, the
is ten times more difficult in hard mode, so for those who complained about how simple he was the first time through, myself included, try him on hard mode).
Some of the rooms that have multiple Ings can be quite a pain, right? Especially areas with 4 or 6 Warrior Ing. They take a lot of Light Beam ammo to take down. I don't know if anybody else has discovered this, but I happened upon it accidentally.
If you have the Annihilator beam, and you shoot a light crystal to expand a light barrier, the barrier itself turns into a sort of 'bug zapper' for the Ing. The barrier turns a redish color, and the scan says that it will literally draw all Ing in the area to it, killing them instantly.
Low and behold, all 6 of the Ing that I was batteling suddenly came rushing towards the barrier. One by one, they exploded into charred nothingness as they kamakazied into the barrier, their shreaks echoing all throughout the ongoing slaughter.
I swear it was the most hilarious thing I've seen in a Metroid game. :lol
