As long as Hillary is involved there will be drama in the democratic party and it will do more harm to the party.

She should take a page from Al Gore. Pick an issue and make a fight for it in the private sector.

The Clintons need to go away especially after they lost this election.

I'm not getting why we need to tell contributors to the progressive agenda to "fuck off"

We need all the help we can get, guys.

Good

Wheres Obama? Serious question. Didn't he say he would do the same after his vacation?

He's been making some announcements, so I expect he'll join the fight not too long from now

I'm not saying this is a bad thing, but it is just really fucking frustrating to see her huge cult of personality place her on a pedestal for being an ally when she absolutely is not.

To everyone that is about to say "go away Hillary"

It says right in the OP that she does NOT plan to be some visible face of the democrats, but that instead she will do the one thing she is VERY good at: Fund Raising for Dems.

And it says that these funds she will raise will go towards local grassroots efforts. AKA HILLARY PLANS TO HELP MAKE SURE WE HAVE THE MONEY FOR A 50 STATE STRATEGY.

This is good. Very good. I said months before that Hillary is good at one thing more than anyone else and that's fundraising.

Certain "leftists" hear the name Hillary Clinton and lose their fucking minds.

If she's only fundraising, fine.

If she's in any way attempting to dictate what the Democratic Party's agenda should be going forward, fuck off.
I mean it really goes without saying, but no one person dictates where the Democratic party heads as a party. It's not going to suddenly start happening now.

Please no, Hilary, we don't need you.

She still blames everyone but herself for losing the election.
Totally her fault the GOP smeared her for 20 years into people thinking she is the devil incarnate while Trump gropes women and files for his 20th bankruptcy.

Clinton announces launching a funding group to support and fund grassroots activism in support of fighting Trump and likely in support of things like Planned Parenthood, women's right, etc......

Lefties (right on cue): That bitch...

Just like Hillary to be on the wrong side of history until it is clear what direction the "majority" wind is blowing. Add resistance to the list of things she has been LTTP for.

Fuck her.

You're part of the problem.

I'll just say this. Hillary Clinton has done, and will continue to do more for progressive politics than you ever will.

Big surprise some people on the "left" have more resistance to her than the actual thing they are supposedly resisting.

I still think it's better for Dems if there is no clear democrats at the forefront shaping the image of the party; sort of like Republicans after Obama won, Bush went away and they were able to attack from 1000 different angles.

But oh well. We'll see how it goes.

Huh, you actually think the Democrats is a left party? do you genuinely think that?

spoiler: they aren't, just because they aren't GOP doesn't mean they are left. Are Americans really this clueless at politics? there is genuinely no real left party or labor movement in America.

On the American political spectrum, she is on the left.

I don't give a fuck about other countries degrees of progressiveness, because we aren't other countries. That shit is irrelevant.

Kind of crazy to see so many people's opinion of Clinton in here turn so dramatically after she lost the election.

I still think she's a ridiculously qualified, intelligent, and pragmatic politician who would have likely been a great president.

That has no bearing on my opinion of how visible she should be in the party moving forward. She should pass the baton to younger members of the party, IMO. She's had her time in the limelight.

Good

Wheres Obama? Serious question. Didn't he say he would do the same after his vacation?

endorsing the liberal candidate in the French election.

donating $2 million to create jobs for Chicago youth.

building his center to create strong leaders.

basically, really good meaningful work.

She's literally fundraising to give money to grassroots activists and people are against this? The left deserves Trump

What does this even have to do with the Democratic party...

fuuuuuuuckkkkk offfffffff

Yea she just needs to step away. This won't help at all.

Ran the laziest campaign in my lifetime because she expected a free win. She and her team have responsibilty. I'd rather not be reminded of her tbh.

Honestly Hillary should retire I believe it's time. She lost the propaganda war most Americans straight up don't like her. The democratic party needs to figure shit out their selves.

🤔🤔

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
What's wrong with some of you? Is this the purity bullshit? If she's trying to help with grassroots efforts how is that possibly a bad thing? Some of you are embarrassing with your hate for this woman

For real. The purity test needs to stop.
I get it, people are angry she lost, but the Democratic party needs help. She has money.

Making money is not wrong. We all need it.

What the GOP does to make money, screw people over so they can fill their pockets, is what's wrong. A big part of the AHCA is tax breaks for the wealthy, and it's at the cost of the people.

Those people who do see it as a club they want to hold on to instead of a movement. Why else would they want to dictate who gets to be a part of it.

She can join the resistance, but we all have to agree Bernie is the new commander of the left.

Yeah the new commander in chief campaigning for anti-abortion anti-choice mayoral candidates.

Speak for yourself. Bernie Sanders doesn't fucking represent me.

HStallion

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
I still think she's a ridiculously qualified, intelligent, and pragmatic politician who would have likely been a great president.

Isn't this what she's trying to attempt to do?

uh, Hillary isn't left so why wouldn't a leftist whine about this?

alt-left? hahaha

But she is. In fact her platform was further left than Obama. Not Sanders left but still left of center. And much further left than the other party. But you know, who gives a shit about facts when there are purity tests and feelings.

These people stick around to support and help to rebuild and educate, and STILL you complain and do nothing. If I were her or Barry, I would have washed my hands of these so-called progressives long ago.

DietRob

i've been begging for over 5 years.
They had 20 years to fight it. An entire generation grew up thinking that shit wasn't just right-wing bullshit.

Yea people really show how naive they are. Most of them cant even explain why shes the bitch eating crackers to them.

The seething hatred some on the """left""" have for Hillary is utterly bizarre. It goes beyond "this person was a bad candidate", some people here don't even want her to exist in the same political stratosphere. Nothing short of a medieval banishment is enough to appease them.

You sure y'all are the calm and rational ones? This goes beyond simple politics and difference of opinion. You have a legitimate hatred of this woman that is completely unhealthy considering you're both on the same side politically.
