My wife is hyped for this. Not sure if I'll play through it but the game looks fun. If it's Harry Potter ME, I probably will play it. I love the books, didn't care much for the movies, this looks like a good adaptation though.
 
Looking forward to the game but WTF was that trailer?

Did a bunch of interns rush to put it together 30 minutes before the show with some B-roll they had around?

Which is why this trailer is so weird. It's like they went out of their way to make it look bad.
If you don't have the best facial animations focus on the environments, combat, etc.....not giant close up shots of characters faces as they talk.
 
Man that looks ugly. I will never give Japan flack for their heavily stylized games.

If I can't create super powerful spells like things Dumbledore would do, I don't want it.

kinda weak graphically and overall boring trailer...
it's a sad state of affairs for gaming if this is what gets people excited these days...

The more I see, the more I'm hyped.
but at the same time, I'm really worried to be disappointed. Please be a great surprise.
 
Oh wau the C-tier voice acting. Ran out of money or willing actors?

Or maybe it's the direcror who wasn't able to get better performances out of them. Sounds bad regardless.

Kinda yeah, in your ideal world stuff like harry potter and avengers would have gta6 level of budget and the best devs behind.

Hopefully this is gonna be good but yeah production values are not super duper high considering how big the franchise is.

The first trailer looked better.

Pretty good trailer for what seems to be just an optional mission.. it just isn't what I wanted to see.
Hope they can show us more on 1st September on the back to hogwarts day.

I think this was just thrown together to have a presence at Gamescom, since the game is still a ways out. Want to make sure people remember it's coming, due to the delay. "Sorry, we know we said Holiday 2022, but here's a quick trailer with some new info to keep you excited". I get why they did it.

It's always been defined as a single-player open world action RPG, since they announced it at the Playstation Showcase in September 2020.
 
Gonna be cool to pickup both this and Forspoken early next year.

Also, its silly that websites are not talking about and not allowing talk about this game.
