Nah. I'm pretty sure every major shooter has been imitated on /b/. It's an extremely easy way to get a rise out of people who happen to see the posts before seeing the news.

That was fake. Its a really easy way to troll people. This guy, however, has non-publically released information. So unless its a policeman trying to lose his job, its almost certainly real.

I doubt it. There have been murder cases before on 4chan. This will blow over in a week or two. There will be meme jokes about it on other boards in a few hours, and people will be posting the pics on /b/ for years, but that's it.

This was my deepest fear as a child, compounded by the fact that I'm adopted and my mom was already in her 70s when I was in elementary school. I couldn't stand the thought of coming home and finding her fallen down the stair or something, or of hearing someone break into the house at night and not being able to protect her.

Literally laid awake at night staring at the ceiling a lot of times as a kid because I was afraid to "let my guard down."

The idea that someone could do this to a person and then *specifically* set it up/leave it so her child will find her, laid out dead and nude, is just... "Evil" is too light. This is how supervillains are born.
