Now that you mention it, this pic reminds me of PoP2.
Well, at the moment the are planning:Borys said:GoW2 on PS3 launch please, thanks.
Hmm, I'll have to go back and look at the extras again, but I would have sworn thatrobojimbo said:It's mentioned in the unused character gallery thatthey wanted Kratos to be wearing armor similar to this, but it was too detailed and looked like shit thanks to hardware limitations. The fantastic storyline has alot to do with that. Kratos' motivations were clear, while the Prince just hated that his parents took away his Linkin Park cd or something.Ironclad_Ninja said:Kratos was the commander of the Spartan army. If he isn't angry, then no-one is. Also, he doesn't have "generic" rage ala Warrior Within.

I was never really bothered by the linear nature, because the action was so fast and frantic. Plus there was never any 'downtime' in the story, you always had an immediate task to accomplish. If they could tweak up the engine, create some harder puzzles (though I think the ones in GoW were pretty well designed, if simple in execution ie - pull lever, push block, etc), and push the playtime to 20 hours, it would be hard to beat.kevm3 said:Yeah, Kratos was "bad-ass" done right. Not some long-haired pretty boy who just happens to be pissed off. The guy actually looks brutal.
I'm thinking they can maybe improve the game by making it less linear. But on the other hand, the linearity was a godsend at times, because I absolutely didn't want to go searching around for what to do next. Hard choice to make... I just think God of War needs even more of an adventure side, more convos with NPCs and things like branching paths.
If Konami could get the next castlevania to play like this, that would be awesome.

I'm not being touchy. I am just stating one of the given reasons why Kratos could be filled with rage. ;Pcapslock said:woo, toooooouuuuuuuuchyyyyyyyyy
